Blind eyes blinked slowly for a moment before the Nightmare let out a large, un-stifled yawn. Azren had went the entire day bored out of his mind- he hadn't been able to find one angelic to stalk down, no kits to terrorize, nothing at all. Huffing a few times, he circled over a patch of soft, shady moss and lay down, ears flicking away a few obnoxious insects. His tongue softly flicked the air, the faint scents and smells of blooming flowers and passing kitsu that had since been long gone reaching him.
Heaving a heavy sigh, the Nightmare rolled onto his back, wriggling around on the moss. Kicking out as he did so, he eventually rubbed the plant free from the ground, a contented grunt coming from his throat as the dirt scratched his pelt for him. Might as well do something worthwhile.

Metal claws clicked irritably as Gunzi dragged his feet, rather purposly, across the soft earth leaving large gashes as he went. "No fun, no fun~ Where have all the Kitsu run?" He mummbled in a sing-song voice, grin pulling at his mouth. Flicking blonde fringe from his eyes he gave an exagerated huff, annoyed that no Kitsu had materiaslied at, what he considered, his call. The urge to hunt, to hurt another overwhelming his senses, eyes glazing as he played the scene out in his head- Him, another, and a wonderful splash of crimson. Stopping he looked about, hopeing to catch even a single Kitsu unaware, eyes landing on a larger Kitsu still a distance away. Curiosity tugging at his mind. He'd not seen a Nightmare before.

Azren froze suddenly, the sound of distant metal reaching his sensitive ears. The ground vibrated slightly against his back, blind eyes wandering from the cloudless sky over in the general direction of the approaching visitor. Tail flicking and writhing behind him, he immediately flipped himself over and onto his massive paws, ruffling his pelt to get the dust out of it. It fell is puffs and clouds from his black fur, littering the ground about him in a fine, brown mist. "Come closer, I dare you," he called loudly, a sneer pulling across his face, "See how long your little metal claws will last." He couldn't see him, but at the flick of his tongue, the Nightmare figured that he was still a good distance off. The scent that he found wasn't that of his own kin, as he had first expected, but rather some normal kitsu, dolled all up in silly clothing. Oh, they weren't normals, some said? Well, anything that wasn't a winged pest or a kinsman was a normal in his eyes. And normals were only good for chasing and torturing.

"Oh? Will if you insist." Eyes wild and grin splitting his muzzle Gunzi forcebly scolded himself to continue at his previous pace, muscles trembling in twisted excitement. Already smaller than most, even from this distance Gunzi could tell the other towered over him. - though he was known to exagerate. Tails twisted themselves into knots, fur standing on end as he approached the other, though leaving a good few paces between the them, 'just in case' he told himself. Not a single Kitsu he'd seen before had posed any threat towards him, any challenge. And the new turn of events had him practically bubbling with alacrity.

So he was coming closer... Azren's fur bristled at this newcomer, blind eyes staring down at him. He could sense him, almost feel him- and he knew that the other was smaller than him. Not many could grow to the immense size of his kin, after all. His ears flattened against his cranium, maw clacking softly, much like the beak of a large raptor. Tails switching behind him, he carefully shifted his weight- while he was smaller than himself, Azren could almost taste the blood lust emanating from this kitsu before him- it was heavy in the air, mixing with his own. He wasn't going to 'play nice' with this guy, should either one of them feel the need to start something violent.
"And you are...?" he growled, voice low, smooth, and cool, "I'm quite sure that I haven't encountered you before.
