Eztil couldn't help but laugh to himself as he sat under a small group of trees that Tia was to meet him under, chewing absently on some meat as he waited for her to return. There were certainly ways that their con could have been easier, but none were, in earnest, coming to mind. How was it the lions could honestly be that stupid? He had no idea... but he had been rather pleased with how well he and Tia had worked together. Though he would have to explain the complex issue of the 'big brother' complex he had been going for in their con. Sometimes drawing it out was just as much fun as winning.
He chuckled and leaned back, before biting into his meal, thinking to himself how truly amusing it would be when that pompus pridelander realized that it had all been a ploy to steal his meal... though it was possible that after whatever Tia had done to him, he wouldn't really care. Oh well, it didn't really matter anymore. They had gotten what they wanted... and Tia had certainly, once again, proven to be quite useful.

Tia had finally managed to slip away from her...endevor. Men, so predictable. And that one they had stolen from had been particularly hormonal. It had left her to do all the work for an hour or so while Eztil got the easy job. Not that playing to a man's needs wasn't an easy steal. It just meant that her partner had to do very little. It was something only she could accomplish, after all.
"I knew you were lazy," she chided as she came near, seeing him eating already, "But I didn't think you were stupid." Eating before they divided things up? He better watch his step. She was a little devil and if he didn't know it, no one did.

Eztil merely chuckled, "Oh, not to worry my dear, I've only had a bite or two. And it was merely to stave off my boredom. I had honestly thought you would get away much more quickly than that." He said no more than that until he chuckled, "So... how would you like to divvy it up, before you comment more... on my, laziness?" He asked, tilting his head to the side with a small laugh.
To him, Tia had gotten the easy... and by far more fun job. He would have left the job of dragging around the corpse to her... though he doubted that their... friend would have been too pleased with that.

"Being male I would have assumed you understood how...eager men can be," she replied as she finally slipped over to stand near their "catch". It was fairly large. Worth the little amount of effort, of course. It could probably hold them for a week or so if shared equally. But equality was delusional. It certainly wasn't something she believed in.
"The act would have been useless without me," she said simply. She wasn't going to waste words with him. He didn't need it. Of if he did she had nothing to gain by doingn so, "I get the larger portion." There was no question. It was her decision.

Eztil raised an eyebrow at her, "Oh... really? Now... I am afraid I just have to hear this one. Why now, pray tell, my dear Tia, would you get any more than I would? Did you..." he then wiggled his raised eyebrow, "...exhaust yourself, perhaps? On your back for that... unintelligent hormornal brute we took this from? He didn't look like he had it in him."
He didn't bother to say that it wouldn't have worked without him either. She should have known, or at least he hoped she wasn't stupid enough to think, that without him the lion would have been back to get his kill, and find it still there... instead of safely in their grasp.
And as to how 'eager' males could be... she was largely underestimating Eztil, which was fine with him. He had very little interest in anything of the sort... unless it helped him to some greater gain. Otherwise, he hardly saw the point.

"Next time I'll let you take it up your a**," she yawned, unphased by the insults. She was a practical sort. If he thought she really needed him he was the one with delusions. She had left that lion snoring. She could have taken the kill all by herself at that point. It was a shame, that. She really didn't like sharing. "Since it's quite likely you're gay, I'm sure you'd enjoy it as well. Save me some trouble," she murmured, sniffing idly at the meat and inspecting it with a more careful eye. She didn't actually think him gay, nor had she actually thought he was hormonal as that dunder head had been. But if he didn't wish to play along with her banter she'd simply counter it. It was only natural.

"Ah... sex. I could care less about something so... abstract. If being gay for a con or two gets me what I want, then I do what I have to do. Simple as that. You're not the only one who can be practical Tia." He grinned a little, "If it makes you feel better, next time I'll play the one who lies flat on my back. I don't need you, Tia, anymore than you need me. What I propse only makes our lives easier..." he shrugged a little, "If I had thought he would go along with it, I would have tried for him myself so you could have done all the heavy lifting. Somehow though, I think you were more his type. But that's just me." He smiled a little, amused, "But... I've never been called... unreasonable by my partners in the past. If you feel like you're... doing more work, and I'm simply lazing about... or that I can't help you..." he shrugged again, "You may say so. It won't mean, of course, that there aren't still cons out there that take more than one lion... or that con didn't go more smoothly with two, splitting the work, was easier than one doing all of it..." He looked up at her, leaving his words hanging.
"But... like I said, I'm not unreasonable. If you want the bigger portion for all of your hard work, I'll understand... but if there is a con where I feel as though I have done more work, I'll request the same coutesy." Which he probably wouldn't, since that would simply show weakness and childishness, which for him was reflected in Tia as she spoke to him now. A greedy child... but oh well, that didn't bother him.

"You talk strangely like a virgin," she commented, sounding amused, "Which I find surprising considering you're a living fossel. There is nothing abstract about it. It's very physical and, therefore, tangable." She leaned her small frame forward and pawed at some of the meat with open claws, inspecting it. It was almost as if she were choosing the choice cuts and he wasn't there at all. "I will take the bigger portion," she mused, though she did not state that she agreed to his terms. She would not. She was more prone to fight battles, not wars. If she had "won" this one, so be it.

Eztil smiled casually, unfazed... and not missing that she had not agreed to his terms. That would not be an issue. Trust had never been their strong suit, nor did he strongly believe in any way that it would be. As much as she reminded him of Coaxoch in some ways... they weren't the same lioness. Coaxoch was still dead. She wasn't coming back. So, he casually took the smaller portion...amusing himself as he played with his food.
"I wouldn't worry too much about my sex-life. Perhaps it is simply that I have never cared about any of them... all of them just part of the con." He grinned, his smile sadistic, "You could always show me how physical it can be." He was kidding, and knew he was asking for more of her teasing, but somehow he could not quite resist.

"It has nothing to do with caring," Tia chuckled with a shake of her head. "I don't give out freebies," she asserted with a bemused smile, "Especially not to old men." She rolled her shoulders and dropped her maw down to latch into her meal, ripping back the skin to work into the meat underneath. Her dark bangs fell over her eyes, leaving her face to be dominated by the beginnings of a blood stained maw.

"No... perhaps those two things don't have anything in common. And it seems to me... that all you give out are freebies." He mentioned offhand, ripping into his own portion of the meal. "But then, that's just my opinion... and Hell, I'm no one to throw stones. You know, with me being an old man-whore and all." He was sure to emphasize the 'old'. She really did need to discover that it didn't bother him... he was almost certain that eventually she wold discover something that actually bothered him... but that was yet to be the case. Besides, Eztil wasn't so great with weaknesses, and sharing them. Besides, his only one was dead.

"And where do you think this meal came from, mmm?" she questioned passively. He could say what he liked. She'd much rather be a tramp that got what she wanted. Her sexual status wasn't something she cared about. She used it to her advantage, when there was no danger of cubs of course, but that was it. He would do the same and she knew it. So his hypocrsy was the last thing she was going to worry about.

Eztil smirked a little, "True enough. We are just a couple of tramps, I suppose." He continued his flippant ways. In her own way, in his opinion, Tia was probing for his weakness... he couldn't help but do the same, really. She might have been fighting battles, but Eztil was looking more towards the bigger picture. Tia could be permanent, but she also might not be. Either way, she was a conwoman. She would try to make sure he didn't know her. Just like he would make sure she didn't know him.
