Today, I was watching an AMV about Hikaru and Kaoru. My 8-year-old sister wandered in and saw the end of it, then began bugging me about who the people in the video were. She also made me watch the video twice. She then began pointing to one of the twins saying "I like that one best!" and asked if there was anywhere I could get plushies of them. I showed her a Tamaki x Haruhi vid. She began asking if there were any Host Club video games and saying she wanted (get this) a chocolate bar shaped like the twins for Easter. Apparently my sister is now into Ouran High School Host Club. How do I react to this?!

Embrace her advent into the world of Anime, and firmly explain to her that she's not quite old enough for it yet. :3 It may be rather light-hearted, but it's definitely not suitable for an 8-year-old.
... And then buy her a plushie of one of the twins for her birthday. :3
I suggest gently shoving her in the direction of the magic of (subbed) Pokemon, Doraemon, and any other children's anime you can think of.
