If you are a part of the "Chilton Bitches" Group then this is the place were you can start Planning and Orgaizing Avatar Contests, and setting up Public events to help advertise for the Guild.
If you are not Part of the "Chilton Bitches" group but wish to be so, then go to the "Pick Your Group" Thread and request to be so.

Hello fellow Chilton ladies! Let us decide our first event. Shall we host avatar contest(s) to get some funds for this guild (and get those snazzy mugs sooner), or shall we try publicity to get more people into this guild?
Since there are seven of us, I think that we should vote.
I'd go with publicity so that later people are more inclined to participate in our avatar contests. The more people, the more contestants, the more gold in our profit, I'd say.
How about we make our goal, say, 250 people in our guild, to start?

250-275 is a good number. The sunday raffles are going to help pay for that too (once chloe sullivan and i start them sweatdrop ). Right now though, we''re looking at 137,500gold for 250 people. I know some already have mugs themselves.

anyway, since no one is coming, should I pm the other members? or shall we just discuss by ourselves?
Is it okay to advertise the guild in the entertainment forum?
Unless we have enough bumping, a thread in the chatterbox might be too slow to compete.
hmmm, I'm not sure, I think that people probably wouldn't care for the most part, but then there are those assholes with a a pole up their, er, a*****e, who want to report you. So, I don't know, the worst thing they'll do is move it...

you just met on the wrong day or something. i've been kinda busy with school and stuff so i haven't been on in awhile. i say do the publicity thing. i still can't get banners into my sig, though.

Okay, we've past the 200 point on members, so we probably need to start working out what we're going to do and such with the avatar contest or whatever we're doing.
Also, I've noticed that a lot of members already have their signature coffee mugs.
Oh, and I think that we should try and work out that the guild members shoud be on each other's friends lists, so if we meet someone who likes Gilmore Girls we can ask them to join if they aren't our friends.

how much are the mugs? and what color is this one?
I think we should start with an avatar contest in our own guild maybe? a cheap one, say like, 200g a piece to enter, 7 people competing, 1100g prize? so that makes 300 for the guild? and people here would be more inclined to support their own guild. poll...contestant to 20 votes first wins?

The mugs are 550g in the stores, but sometimes you can find them for cheaper in the market place. They come in red, navy, turqouise, and teal
The avatar contest sounds good. I can host it or whatever because I'm done with my avatar, but someone else can do it if they want to, or have more experience doing it...

I like the idea of asking them to join when they like Gilmore Girls also why can't we do both ideas?
