The Mating Season Event ran from February 14th to the 29th.

As we did in the Winter Event, we'll be keeping a list of all the goings-on for the Mating Season Event here. This should make it easier for everyone to keep track of what's happening, what happened, and what's coming soon! We may add stuff at any time, and/or even do impromptu mini-events in-thread, so be sure to hang out and pay attention!

General Event Rules:
- Yes, can you enter any and all of the events
- Yes, you can win more than one Sentinel during the entire event
- No, you can't win more than one Sentinel within one event
- Yes, you can enter for other people
- As always, we encourage generosity

Event number 2 - Ye Olde Raffle!

Sorry for the delay, folks. We waited for an additional 24 hours to give Chikagi a chance to reply since she does not have internet access on the weekends. Unfortunately, we have not yet heard from her and therefore we've had to pass her in the choice order.

So! The moment you've all been waiting for... Drumroll, please...

Some of these Sentinels already have feather dye, but additional customization (accessories, feather dye, companions) is available upon request. PM the mule with the details of your order, if you are interested. If the owners both wish to have their Sentinels in a pre-arranged mating, then they must PM the mule with their permission for the mating along with the info for the cert and/or RP form.

Here's how it works:
1 - Buy raffle tickets
2 - Be entered in a draw to win one of a potential pair of Sentinels!

Here are the rules:
1 - Always abide by the rules of Noctua and Gaia
2 - No whining about your luck (or lack thereof), excessive whining will see you banned from this event
3 - One prize per person, no exceptions
4 - All trades and PMs go to Ranger of Noctua

And here are the details:
Sentinels will be added to the raffle pool in potential mated pairs. This means that the winners can, if they both agree, have their new Sentinels be in an established relationship. Sentinels are won individually, NOT as a pair, but they can be RPed as a pair if desired by both owners.

- Tickets are priced at 100g (please send trades to Ranger of Noctua)
- You may buy as many tickets as you like
- You may buy tickets for yourself or someone else
- Send trade immediately
- All trades must be completed before the drawing
- Uncomplete trades will be cancelled and your tickets will be taken away
- Tickets are distributed in number-order, you cannot pick specific numbers
- After 1k tickets have been sold we will add another pair of Sentinels
- For every 5k tickets sold thereafter we will add another pair of Sentinels
- Draw is for choice order, which means that the first winner gets first pick of one Sentinel, not the pair, etc.
- If you win, send a PM to Ranger of Noctua with your choices in clear sequential order, within 24 hours
- Failure to PM your choices within 24 hours will be considered as giving up your spot
- Some of the Sentinels in the raffle pool are RP-required, this will be noted near their image

At the end of the event, after all of the other Sentinels have been distributed and the excitement has quieted down, we will be raffling off some random Sentinels of MYSTERY* and these two lovely Shadows:

These two Sentinels could be apped as an already-mated pair, if both of the winners agree!

* If you won a random Sentinel of MYSTERY then please PM the mule with a name and preferred gender, and NO OTHER DETAILS. Random Sentinels of MYSTERY cannot be named after an existing RP-only character, they must be entirely new. And MYSTERIOUS.

There will be no cost to enter. Every post made in the shop thread from page 1260 until page 1660 will be considered as an entry for the raffle. We will draw by first randomizing between the page numbers to select the page that the winning post is on, and then from 1-15 to pick the winner. This process will be repeated twice, once for each Sentinel. Bump or fluff entries will not be considered as valid 'raffle tickets' and in the event that such an entry wins we will re-draw from that same page.

All you have to do to enter is post in the thread! Have a conversation, share pet photos or stories, ask about the Sentinels or their world.. we don't really care what you talk about, just get to know each other and have fun!

* We reserve the right to decide what is a 'fluff' post and will not be argued with, sorry.

Event number 4 - Ye Olde Aberrant Auction

Winning Bid: 2.2mil (Horns of the Demon) by Natsube and Bluekoinu. Congratulations!

Up for grabs here we have this mated pair of Aberrant Sentinels. Now, these guys are true aberrants - no feather dye was used in the creation of these unique beauties. And not only are they a lovely mated pair, but they're in the process of trying start a family of their very own! The winner of the auction can keep only one of the two Sentinels. The other must be given to someone else. Once the pair have had RP forms submitted the owners can begin to RP, and work towards starting that family they dream of!

What this means: We have a breeding slot reserved for these two beauties, so all you have to do after you win'em is RP to qualify for a breeding!

Event number 5 - Ye Olde Bizarro Random Egg Flatsale

At some point during the evening of February 22nd, we held a random egg flatsale. Eggs were acquired through a variety of means - mostly trivia and image searching. We planned to make ten eggs available.. and somehow we ended up with twelve going out the door. Not quite sure how that happened, but ahwell!
