Mythril Beach

Looks:
A small cove with crystal clear water. A light breeze blows softly as the bright sun shines down warmly upon it. Mythril Crystals are commonly found here.

((Heh, I'm not gonna plunge into the water. I'm just standing on the beach.))

Aili removed one hand from her coat pocket and caught a snowflake. She watched the white puff melt into a drop of water. The snow was coming down gently now and was soothing her soul. She had gotten accustomed to the cold and was actually enjoying the cold weather.

Aili flexed her cold finger and stared out into the horizon. The peaceful landscape drove away the stress and worries she had been feeling earlier.

It was a chilly morning when Kurai walked down the Beach he breathed out randomn air vapors to entertain his troubled mind at the time.

why didn't Ky tell us about it? did he not think i can handle the impact of it like he said? but i can... why didn't he believe me..!? he held his head in frustration as he tried to figured this out. "... its just so unright... feeling..." kurai muttered.

so Rene went to the village on that trip.. "and found out about the village being attacked by those demons..." Kurai looked at the beach as it made a soothing sound. The sand glittered and the beach seemed to respond to it with its own shine of mythril.

"... so... about everyone in the town is dead now..."

Kurai heard his sister voice and then looked next to him there was Rene next to him breaking down. Kurai sighed for a momment and then looked up at the sky while placing a hand on Rene's head. he then slowly rubbed her head hoping it would comfort her.

"No Rene... i think its great you found out about this.." Kurai then sorta smiled. "I mean what if we didn't know about this.. then we would not even have this... i dunno i guess it would feel guilty if we didn't know about the people deaths.." Kurai sorta scratched his head now in confusion.

"This is really a strange feeling.. of anger and yet relievment of knowing what our village is like now..." Kurai then let another sigh and watched the Air vapor slowly dissepear.

"but then.. theres our parents... " Kurai tilted his head downwards and moved his hand off Rene's head.

"... i hate.. it.." Kurai slowly muttered as his body shook. "... At least Ky could tell us that much... at least... least.."

Kurai stood up lazily as he dusted off his pants he then stood up at his full height and stared down at Rene slowly taking a deep breath and releasing another vapor cloud away from Rene. "...go ahead tell me whatever... nothing could really screw me up more then what just happened..." Kurai sorta gave off a strange smile. He then slowly listened to what she had to say.

Kurai felt a flash of shock in the back of his head from Rene's words. "wh..what?" Kurai said with his eyes wide open and stared at Rene straight forward. "how can that be!? we grew up with the same father and like only 4 monthes away from each other! that dosent make sense!" Kurai slowly rubbed his head in confusion. "That.... dosent make sense.." Kurai continued to deny it. "Aren't you full of suprises Rene.." Kurai said looking down at her. "Tell me how can that be?"

Kurai slowly looked at her with a shocked expression each word that came out gave him more of a suprise each time. Aili knew about this!? Rene was attacked!? And her father was that!? Kurai held his head angrilly and his facial expression revealed it. "What does this mean then.... we have the same moms but the fathers are different? Maybe mom slept with such a frightful person like him that.. she fears him or something?" Kurai looked over at Rene with some fear.

"Does that mean your not.. human but half of some other race?" Kurai slowly stepped back a bit. "... why does everyone hide these things from me!? Aili and Ky and now you! my own sister... how come no one ever tells me!? do they think i can't react maturally to it or something!?" Kurai slowly welled up and then held his face.

"but then again.. i guess i can't handle something like this.."

"I didn't mean to! It hurts me! I was too afraid to tell you! Mommy acted like I wasn't suppose to know!" She took short breaths and stared at the ground wide eyed. "Aili had to tell me one night. Mom didn't want me to know. And that wasnt how my father had been. When they were married..." Her voice trailed off as she lost her self in the memory. "After mom had grounded me. I was too tired and sick of crying from her to run away again. But that night mommy and daddy had planned to go out."

I called him daddy, but was he?

"They were going out with the Kiske's to parent night. So Aili was baby sitting you, me and Ky at the temple. When you too had stopped battling over a game and were arguing over who could jump their car the farthest over a cliff." Rene laughed at the silly debate. "So, Aili took me into a room near the center of the temple, and she explained to me just a bit of what had happened." Rene had already stopped crying and looked up at Kurai hoping he would understand what she was going to tell him. "When I was born something happened to me, Aili wouldnt tell me what it was, I dont know if she didnt know herself or she just wouldnt tell me, I was too weak and confused to find out. Eventhough I did try to find out other times, but she was never worring about it when I tried so I couldnt tell. She said to me that something had happened to me and my father loved my mom and me very much. He was very powerful in magic and the only way to save me was to give up his life, and somehow he saved me by sacrificing himself. She told me that I'm strong with earth element powers and that hadn't been the case when I was first born. It occured during or as a result of rescuing me. Aili probably had no clue what I saw as my dad in the forest. When she got there there was only blood and me. Not even the bodies of the monsters. I dont know what happened to that person. I asked her though if that was my dad back there. If he had always been like that. She said he seemed human to her when she met him. But it might be a part of his soul left to protect me. And maybe it was mixed with the earth." Rene finished her story. The teenager did not want at all to look up at her brother.

"Please dont be angry. I dont like it when your angry. When any one is. For bad reasons..."

Kurai turned to uwasa but then quickly lowered his head in shame. "... Uwasa...." he said softly. He then listened to Rene's explaination. Kurai slowly looked guilty and then wrapped his hands around Rene's head and hugged her. He didn't want to show himself as a weak person in emotions to Rene so he slowly hid his crying behind her.

"... im bad Rene.. selfishly thinking that this would only affect me.. i forgot that you were my sister for a while there... this was our family.. what in the world happened to it..." Kurai softly said. "You were given earth powers... and all this time i thought i was just weak in the family.. but you were gifted or cursed by our father." Kurai slowly let go of Renes head and wiped away his tears quickly. "..... Why did Aili not tell me though..." Kurai softly mummbled.. "and i wonder if Ky knew before i did..." Kurai mummbled these questions as they circled about his head.

"...what was.. your father like?"
