The age of Harry, the Weasleys, McGonagall, Dumbledore, Voldemort and the rest out of the books are long gone.... This is Hogwarts in a later period, with the same subjects, spells and places, only different teachers and a different mood.
You cannot be an immediate relative to anyone in the books (a grand-grand-grandchild, perhaps?) and if anyone is mentioned, then only as a "historical character".
