Shiny magenta hooves trotted proudly, his head held high. Long blueish purple strands of hair blew in the breeze, and his sky blue eyes were sparkling with merriment. Moonbeam could do nothing but smile, as he noticed how the warm spring had slowly begun taking away the cold winter season. Having just arrived to this land from his former home, it made for a nice accommodation to be out of the chilly bitter air and into a warm area of sunshine and happiness.
His translucent wings remaining high, he debated on soaring across the sky and among the clouds like some regal purple bird.
"I wonder..." he said to himself, pausing in his gait. Should he look for adventure in the air, or stay upon the ground and seek out something to do for the day?

A dainty salmon-skinned broke the horizon line, golden hair waving wildly and free in the air that gave the hair an extra dramatic effect with its blessing. She shined most beautifully when the sun hit her just right, which was at every angle. She moved her slick body across the swaying grasses with a jovial kick to her steps.
She closed her eyes and hummed to herself merrily on her way, rendering her oblivious to anything nearby. She thought herself to be alone, for the moment, and with no worries for anything that may cause a trouble to her trip. She was a protector, and very much trained in the arts of warding off and observing things that would cause a threat to her home, and herself. That, and if necessary, her translucent wings would be able to carry her off if a retreat was the only other option left.
Stopping momentarily, she took a moment to flex her wings, appreciative of all of their natural glory and wonders. All the while she soaked in the sun's rays; this was her element; this was her time, with the sun, and she was going to spend every second she could until it went down, as it was already midday and she could feel the sun's power waning in the overhead sky.

As if in a blink of an eye, he saw her. Or him. Or It.
Whatever it was, it was blindingly salmon colored, with bright yellow streaks running from its head and butt, as if their hair were made of pure sunshine.
Typically preferring the night and its shadows, the magenta stallion found himself staring oddly at the approaching creature. Such blinding beauty, it became quite obvious from the smaller frame that this creature was indeed a female, and a shiny one to behold.
Donning a shiny coat himself, Moonbeam immediately felt akin to the stranger, and began trotting up to meet this interesting specimen.

With her acute senses and uncanny ability to spot danger before it makes itself a quite imminent presence, the bright mare flicked open her eyes and put a stop to her whimsical humming, to find a startling figure coming right at her. It was an easy presence to sense, with the loud, heavy hoof beats pounding against the earthen ground.
But something about the stranger comforted her. He possessed the same hair that was able to be windblown exactly right, the same transparent wings that gave her flight so many times despite its slight intangibility, and even the same gloss that seemed to coat the entire body. She couldn't help but feel as if she had met him before, but, having given up most things in life in order to protect what she had in the past, she found herself susceptible to carelessness over everything that did not involve her dearest protected home, which proved to be quite unfortunate at times like these.
She immediately stopped walking while she let the stranger approach her, and stood her ground with great caution. His steps were a little too frisky for her taste, and she was also taking part of the moment to find within the very tight corners of the recesses of her memory whether she would be able to identify the big brute coming her way.

He saw her obvious hesitance, as the glossy mare noticed his obvious approach, so he slowed down his perfectly timed pace to a slow walk, hoping to easy her discomfort. Her purple lined frame was a beauty to behold, but he would not scare her off with a forward advance. Though his heart beckoned and pleaded to leap out from his purple chest and throw itself at her salmon hooves, he resisted opening his mouth and revealing such sudden feels of passion and devotion towards a mare he had yet to discover the name of. Perhaps her name was something atrocious, like Bertha or Eugine. Surely such a sun-kissed mare such as herself would never bear such a horrid name.
The melodious noise that had been erupting from within her vocal chords had ceased, so Moonbeam took this opportunity to continue on with the humming himself, hoping to add to the unknown tune. Perhaps he could ease her wariness with his own perfectly balanced harmonious voice, giving them yet another thing in common, aside from their translucent wings and shiny bodies.
As he finally neared her, his own humming stopped, and he took an over exaggerative bow before her, bending one shiny knee as he knelt in the presence of the glamorous beauty.
"I am Moonbeam," he announced as he rose back up from his dramatically formal form of greeting, "And though I do not know you, dear mare, I freely admit I experience this odd sensation when I looked upon your form for what I assume to be the first time. May I ask, have we met before?"

The mare noticed, in her keen observation of the coming stranger, that he had slowed his steps and began a new, different hum in response to her silence. She had never been wooed like this before.
A polite smile came as he had finally reached where she stood, and before she was able to say anything, he unexpectedly took a bow. A nice gentleman would first come to mind, but she was still a little wary of his antics, though something in her body made her feel a little differently--something that pined, something that quite fancied the stallion bowing before her. She stared at his body almost hungrily while he was hunched over until he rose, and she regained her composure with a brighter smile.
"Moonbeam," she dipped her head in a smaller, faster bow, "I am Sun Dancer." At once she acknowledged the similarities yet polar opposites of their names, but thought no more of it. He was definitely of another line than she, as her own being paid homage to the sun instead of the moon.
"I feel the same way," she spoke caressingly, stepping to the stallion's right to observe that particular side of him, "But answers I have not. Tell me, Moonbeam, by your given name, I suspect you are aligned with the moon? Walk with me into the distance, let us keep the other company, if you may, kind sir."
She then began a stroll towards the sun, beckoning to the stallion to come to her side.

Her voice was like nothing he had ever heard before. It was as if the Angenis above had graced her with one of their own voices, it was so beautiful and pleasing for his purple ears to hear. He watched with his bright blue eyes as she watched and smiled at him, his own mouth grinning in return. It was a good sign that she was no longer looking at him with a stern expression; perhaps she had relaxed around him at last. Or, perhaps even, she was feeling the same sensations as he was; this strange attraction to a stranger, albeit a beautiful one, that he had never felt before.
Her name was just as pretty as she, and he had no doubt one of the reasons she must have been blessed with such a name was due to the bright and shining yellow locks of hair that graced her head and rump. Yes, they were named as differently as night and day, literally, but at the same time it seemed like an uncanny pairing. A coincidence neither of them could ignore.
"That I am," he acknowledged of her question, his glossy hooves following where this mysterious salmon mare led him. Something told him his destiny, his fate, the rest of his life, would forever be entwined with this mare he had met only seconds before.

Perhaps the stallion's attraction was a contagious one, for Sundancer did feel very much allured by his tact and mannerisms that simply seemed to grow with each second's passing of time.
Fate had forced upon her the moment, and so only fate would tell what was to become of the future. It was not that she favored this, but now, she felt an obligation to do as destiny willed.
Her wings were held high, and she even let a feather or two drift towards Moonbeam's in a gentle touch, connecting the two. She smiled coyly and then broke it off, skipping ahead of him a few steps as if in playful provocation. She felt the sun kiss her cheeks before it lowered down even more, and, with her companion now following her, she settled onto the edge of a cliff overlooking the vivid horizon with the sun at the center bottom.
She let Moonbeam off to go wherever he wished as she stared off into the beautiful skylight, spending her last moments with the sun. Then, looking back at Moonbeam, her gaze was obvious, telling him to join her in the passionate, awe-inspiring moment.

His grin remained wide, despite the fact he knew not where this mysterious beauty was leading him. Perhaps to his death, perhaps to paradise. Deep down inside, he knew it truly did not matter to him. Once his eyes gazed upon her form, his heart, his will, was lost to her. He was hers to command, though he doubted highly she had figured this out, this... beautiful stranger, named after the bright star that graced the land with its warmth and light.
She seemed evasive, but that simply caused the mysterious aura around her to intrigue him further. Feathers gently drifted in the wind, caressing his cheek as he passed them, a silent call from the mare for him to follow, as if she were a siren on hooves leading him to his fated demise.
He paused as he noticed her nearing the edge of a cliff, which had oddly enough, come out of nowhere. Had he been so entranced by her shine and glossiness not to have seen it before now? Nevertheless, he beamed brightly as he watched her walk to the edge and look over. It was a beautiful sight, seeing the salmon mare standing against the horizon in the distance as the sun, her namesake, set across the sky. A perfect image that would forever be captured in his mind, leaving him momentarily breathless.
She had turned to face him, her expression beckoning him to draw closer. Who was he to deny destiny, to go against the Fates?
His hooves were quick to catch up to where she stood, so that he would stand beside the radiant beauty who had captured his heart with her first glossy glance.

Sun Dancer knew at once, by the glazed look in her future destined soul mate's eyes, that she had him totally under her control. All that power under her hooves instilled a prurient passion in her that wished to do so much more ere the end of the day. By the time night--no, by the time evening had fallen, she and the stallion would be bound for each other in a connection so deep that no other couple dare try surpass the magnitude for fear of losing their minds to it.
It was an evening heavily imbued with feelings most carnal and innate, and she was not one to break the moment. She made sure Moonbeam followed her to the edge, made sure that at every second, his eyes were on her radiance. She would not let him go.
As soon as he stood with her, she dug her neck into his flesh by laying it atop his, pushing his own neck down, pressuring him to lay with her. Her wings carefully wrapped around his back (or at least the wing she had on the side nearest him), while the other folded neatly beside herself. Her look narrowed upon his face, and her eyes themselves were fused with ardent lightning striking through, causing a storm. Time and feelings swelling up from the moment told her it was the right thing to do, obviously.

He saw the demand in her expression, the demand simply radiating from her very eyes, the eyes that pierced through to his weakened soul lusting after her companionship and eternal affection.
He felt at loss of control. He was no longer in charge...his motor skills, his thoughts, his emotions, were all to be hers, and he was a slave to lust and love over this salmon mare.
She forced him down beside her, and he willingly lay beside her lovely dainty form, not that he had a choice in the matter to begin with. His mouth opened to speak, but he was at a loss of words over her shining form, and his cheeks flushed with ardent desire, a deep need within himself that wanted her to belong to him, just as much as he belonged to her.
Finally, he drew up the courage to speak.
"I... know this is highly inappropriate, but I can't think of anything but you, Sun Dancer. I've known you for five minutes, but you are everything to me. I would give my life, my last breath, simply to be noticed by your lovely form, to have your eyes look upon me in favor. I am yours to do with as you please, my undying love and devotion shall be yours forever and always, no matter what. Should you turn away from me, should you find someone more suitable for your flawless beauty, I shall still always remain at your beck and call. I love you, Sun Dancer."

During the descent to the ground, Sun Dancer felt no resistance or hesitance, and inwardly smiled, knowing she grasped the male's soul and will, which she would never let go. It was her possession, and so it had become a part of her. Something so interwoven in her being was to be never released, for she was not one to let anything escape from her.
She would make it so that the stallion would never have any second thoughts of their fate.
Once settled down, she noticed Moonbeam's mouth went agape, possibly in sheer awe once he had a more closer, personal view of her beauty. She smirked inside, satisfied that her form had left the male in speechless shape.
But finally, a voice came pouring out of his mouth, and Sun Dancer listened closely, looking into Moonbeam's eyes as if they would be thrown into great peril had she looked elsewhere. Her gaze intensified throughout his confession, and she shook her head slowly, issuing a low hush sound under her breath. Until at last, he admitted the words that held within them such power--the power to move mountains, drought rivers, and enough to make the wrathful fires of damnation contort in fury and abhorrence.
At once, she pushed her face into his, and shushed further, "Shhh, my Moonbeam," she said, emphasizing his name so boldly and vividly as if she was speaking in tongues, "There will be much time for words later. We must enjoy the beauty--the actions of the moment. Look."
She, having moved her head so close against his, forcefully turned it to gaze towards the sunset pouring into the thickened darkness of the trees below the precipice. The colors of the sky were in a blaze of passionate fire, and the mood sent off by the environment spurred the mare's residual instincts. "You're so beautiful..." she breathed out, pushing her body so tightly against his--closer than before, if that were even possible. Her warm furred body felt good, as glossed against glossed pelt meshed into one form. It was amazing to be so entwined with Moonbeam, in the moment of the day that would never end, and there was looking forward to the endless days ahead of the two.
"I love you, Moonbeam..." she echoed silkily into his face.

He relaxed and grew silent, obeying her demands for him to hush. It was more than apparent that she shared the same emotions as he did, though he was not certain how deep her love for him was.
Snuggled against her, he opened his eyes to take in the beauty of the horizon as the sun set, the colors lighting up the evening sky with their soft hues. He rested his head against hers, enjoying the moment for what it was. He could not remain silent, however. His heart was far too full of love and devotion to keep his tongue from stirring.
"Sun Dancer.." he whispered, nuzzling her head as his mouth rested gently near her ear as he further confessed his undying affection, "We're no strangers to love... you know the rules, and so do I."
Pulling back, he stared soulfully into her eyes, refusing to blink as he continued. "A full commitment...is what I'm thinking of. You wouldn't get this from any other guy."
He knew in his heart that it was so. No other stallion, or mare for that matter, would ever love her as much as he did. Leaning his forehead against hers, he couldn't help but continue smiling. "I just want to tell you how I'm feeling... I've got to make you understand!" She was so utterly gorgeous, and he knew she was his! Oh, but did she truly see how much he loved her?
"I'm never going to give you up, Sun Dancer," he said solemnly, his eyes yet still refusing to blink. "I'm never going to let you down. I swear I'll never run around or desert you. I'll never make you cry, I'll never say goodbye, I'll never tell you a lie, nor will I hurt you."
He finally rested his head once more against her back, firmly pressed against her in a comforting hold. This moment could last forever, for all he cared. It was perfection, tangible, at last.

It was to Sun Dancer's surprise that Moonbeam couldn't keep his mouth still, but all the same, everything was so perfect, so right, so truthful, that all she could do while the shiny stallion beside her was listen intently, tears welling up her eyes as the recital took place.
Love was definitely not a stranger when her eyes first took in Moonbeam, and love even showed enough hospitality to welcome the two fated soquili together. Together, the two would make the rules.
The words "full commitment" did not surprise Sun Dancer, yet it made her heart jump a million miles into the air, eventually reeled back in by the reality of the handsome brute next to her. There was no other stallion for Sun Dancer; Moonbeam was truly the one. But... to mate for life? After having known the other physically for such a short time? She knew without even thinking that her answer would be yes. Their chemistry was far too matched to deny.
Sun Dancer shuddered as Moonbeam graced her bright head by resting atop, and as the next words came, a rush of exhilaration, anticipation, and excitement climaxed in the mare, that she had to muster her entire strength and willpower to not faint under the pressure and passion of the moment. Make me understand what! her thoughts raced.
As Moonbeam's conclusive sentiments came, she was smitten. The silence that came after his proclamation was needed to take in, for also Sun Dancer was rendered comatose by the power of the words; had her heart been weaker, and not as sufficient for enduring love, she would have never woken up from the spell. However, as she was strong enough, she started to move from her catatonic state, dripping big, fluid tears of happiness over Moonbeam. She couldn't thank him enough for his devotion.
As luck had it for Moonbeam, Sun Dancer was able to muster the energy to also release her own confession:
"It's destiny calling..." she breathed in a whisper at first, emphasizing that the two were meant to be, "A power I just can't deny; it's never changing..."
Sun Dancer looked over at Moonbeam's head, which seemed to be still resting peacefully on her back, and asked, "Can't you hear me? I'm saying I want you for the rest of my life..." She would match Moonbeam's offer of "a full commitment".
"Together forever, and never to part," she began her promise, "Together forever we two," she added in case Moonbeam thought she had been talking about something other than the two present, "And don't you know I would move heaven and earth to be together forever with you?" That was her pledge and desire, should she ever obtain those powers--but love was something able to put power in one's hooves.
"So whenever you need somebody," she continued, "I'll bring my love to you. You don't have to say you love me--I just wanna be with you." She ended with a sweet smile and a small lick to Moonbeam's face, taking in the flavor of his smooth, gentle skin.
"How am I supposed to live without you, Moonbeam?" she cried the question into his hair, so crushed by the arduous feelings of the moment.

His heart pounded relentlessly within his chest, his deep and passionate love threatening to burst from within him. She meant the world to him, and now he knew she felt the same way! Destiny was calling to them, and it was telling them that they were meant to be, together, forever!
Her confirmation of love was beautiful, nearly as beautiful as the angelic voice that whispered it into his magenta ear. There was absolutely nothing about her that wasn't beautiful to the eyes, the ears, the senses entirely. She was beautiful, the color of fresh, young salmon, her hair as bright as the wheat fields, her wings as yellow as a young chick. Her voice was melodious, and he knew he would never tire of anything she had to say. Her graceful movements were a pleasure in themselves to behold, and he shuddered for a moment as he felt excited tingles going down his spine as her soft tongue licked his cheek affectionately.
This would be the mare he would be with for the rest of his life, and he knew he would never be happier than when he was with Sun Dancer.
"Sun Dancer... will you be my lifemate?" he asked, only hesitating for a brief instance, his mouth moving too fast for his brain to comprehend. He refused to let her go; she was now a cornerstone in his life, and without her, his world would come tumbling down in moments.
