Place: Eryndlyn Here in the most northern segment of the Underdark lies the City of Eryndlyn, the closest drow settlement to the surface. Eryndlyn is a city of trade and commerce and all kinds of subterreanean creatures gather to the marketplace to sell their wares. You can even find treasures and commodities from the Surface World, either brought down by dwarven merchants or stolen by drow surface raiders.
Characters: Jaeden (played by Vethia) Personality: Jaeden has a rather split sort of personality, though in truth there's only one persona. Most times she seems almost benign and joyful, bitter and cynical though not overly aggressive. When in battle or around people who interest her (in any sort of way), she tends to become intensely malevolent and cruel.
Mirakil (played by Alamoraine) Mikaril is the kind of drow that you would probably never notice until someone points him out. He is quiet and not prone to speaking up unless a question is aimed directly at him. Though behind that mild, inoffensive face is a burning desire for power, but not the kind that magic or weaponry can bring. He loves nothing more than causing chaos and watching the results unfold. He only shows aggression if you move to disturb his hood; for reasons known only to him, he never takes it off.

(( I got lazy and used a post of my from another RP i'm inxD ))
Standing only around five one and weighing in at one hundred pounds, Jaeden Tinuveil is built rather delicately and diminutive despite her drow heritage. She is lean in build and is far stronger than she should be. Her eyes are a bold amber color that may remind some of the hue of molten gold. Her nose rests evenly in the center of her face. Lips the color of the deepest crimson roses accompanied with her ebony colored flesh is rather dashing. Her hair is paltinum white, like snow, with barely visible warm grey lowlights. Long and pin straight in style, the foremost part of her hair reaches just below her butt. Her bangs, split on the right side, normally cover that entire side of her face.
Her flesh is void of all scars, but one long twisting line that is hooked on the lower of her stomach like a fish hook, it reaches down to her inner thigh from the left of her belly button.
Dressed in a strange pure red and white, made of a soft yet durable material and a pure silk wrap top, classically white. Adding the needed bit of sexuality, is slit to show quite a bit of cleavage.
Her feet are covered by a pair of sandal style shoes in black. She also has on a pair of black thigh-highs.
Jaeden sighed as she sat on the crowded street corner as large crowds pushed by her, it was a typical mid-summer day and the heat made Jaeden feel so drowsy. She stifled a yawn and climbed to her feet, she was likw dwarf in comprision to the majority of the tall crowd around her, she could thank her mother for her petite size.
She pulled out a crimson velvet coin purse from the inner lining of her top, she shook it once and the soft tinkling of coins clattering within could be heard,"I'm running low on funds this month." Jaeden sighed as she thrusted the change purse back into her shirt. "Need to find some work soon." She added.

((j00 silly; I was gonna start. Distraction and dial-up is a BAD combination. XD By the way, if any staff are watching, do please let me know if it's not okay to mention a certain rogue group; I don't know if whether or not it will interefere with timeline.))
Mikaril looked uncomfortably at the unfamiliar streets and the hustle and bustle as he stood in a doorway trying to look as though he wasn't from out of town. He didn't care for the active market town, mainly because of how close it was to the surface. The thought of being so close to a place where beings crawled around like flies on the surface of a carcass made him nervous. He wouldn't even be here at all were it not for a bit of conversation that he had heard from a rather mouthy dwarf on one of the docks of the Glimmersea; a notorious band of rogues and thieves were rumored to have been in Eryndlyn; the same band he had heard that his brother had joined. The lure was just too much to ignore. He had gone under the pretense of adding to his house's treasure hoard, but he had no delusions as to why he was really here. Though one didn't just go up to every merchant and ask for the wherebouts of the legendary Bregan D'aerthe. Mikaril mentally shrugged. Still, he may get lucky and hear just the right whisper. Even if they weren't there after all, no harm done; it would be disappointing, but he was used to that particular emotion. He pulled his hood down further over his face as he peered into the crows. His gaze rested on a small figure absently jangling a purse. His eyebrows disappeared into his hood; a thief perhaps? Someone who might know the wherebouts or have had dealings with the group he sought? Figuring it was as good a start as any, he settled his eyes on her and shifted his stance, ready to move should she head out.

(( Oh! xD Sorry! Lol and yeah, i remember when I had dial-up :,D ))
Jeaden heaved another long sigh as she adjusted her breast after having shoved the purse haphazardly into the creases of her shirt,"Hmm, I have just enough for an inn perhaps? Nah, I can sleep outside! I 'd rather have a decent meal tonight anyway." She said to herself as she pushed her way through the hectic crowd.
"Mmm, some fresh noodles would be nice. But too expensive." Jaeden thought to herself as a trolley rolled by and the sweet aroma of freshly steamed noodles pervaded Jeaden's nostrils,"Ahh! Who am I kididng! I can't resist!" Jeaden told herself mentally as she groped for the purse and pulled it from the depths of her bra,"Sir! I'd like a cup of noodles please!" She proclaimed while thrusting her way through the crowd once more as the trolley came to a stop just a few feet away.
(( I have no idea what type of currency they use o.o ))

((That's okay. ^^ Yeah, dial-up's crummy, but it's better than nothing. XD))
Mikaril visibly started as he saw his subject move, then mumbled a curse under his breath for doing so so obviously. He realized almost immediately that given how small the girl was, he would have to get closer than he would like in order to keep her in sight at all. He maneuvered through the crowd as though he was on an errand, while at the same time keeping the girl in sight. He watched her hail down a noodle trolley, and decided then and there to try a bold move. He walked up to the noodle trolley and stood right next to her while he pulled a few coins out of the inner pocket of his cloak. "Can I also get a cup of noodles, please?"
((I think we'll be safe with just generic coins. 3nodding ))

(( Do you think we should have Jaeden related to the group Mirakil is searching for? Just to add a bit of a twist to the plot? :3 ))
Jeaden, who was blissifully indulging herself in the tender aromatic noodles that tasted faintly of lemongrass and chili, was also multitasking by shoving the maroon purse back into the profundity of her bra. Once the task was finished she turned her attention to the man standing next to her, she stifled a sweet grin after ingesting a few noodles,"These are pretty good aren't they?" She said to the man as she resumed eating with gentle slurps, not loud obnoxious slurps but rather cute unnatural ones. "It's actually a rarity that I get to have these since I travel so often!" She sighed as she finished of the rest of the cup," And these are my favourite noodles in the entire world." She added as she pitched the empty plastic cup and fork into a nearby trash bin.

((Sure; plot twists are fun! ^^ Though I don't want Mikaril to find his brother yet. wink ))
Mikaril picked at the noodles, enjoying the wonderful smell but eating daintily, trying not to get any of the aromatic juices onto his skin or his clothes. After all, a smelly thief was no thief at all, whether the smell was pleasing or not. Surprised at the frank and open manner of the girl, he could only blink and nod as he tried to hurriedly finish his portion so that he could keep pace with her when she was once again on the move. He couldn't help but spare more glances than was wise at the girl. He never was one for amorous feelings, but he was looking for clues that would tell him if she showed any promise of being related to any thieving group or rogues in general. Fat chance; if a rogue flaunted their profession, they probably wouldn't last the day. Still, he willed himself to hope. Nothing seemed to reveal itself to him, save for perhaps the way she had replaced the purse within the confines of her.....front. The grace and fluid motion hinted at thievery, but he knew that wasn't enough to take the plunge and ask her about the group. He sipped the last of his noodles, tossed the empty container in the trash, bowed slightly in reverence to the girl, then carefully moved back into the crowd, just far enough away to still keep his quarry in sight.

{{ Maybe we should make it that Jaeden was like, an employed assassin for the group when they were too busy to handle some situations on their own? That way she has a direct yet indirect connection with the group? :,D }}
With a disgruntled," Hmph," Jeaden shrugged and dissovled back into the crowd as well. "He wasn't much of a talker," She yawned as she carelessly jostled through the thickening crowd,"Then again he was eating." Jaeden was always the type to try to make small talk with others in hopes of distracting her from her forlorn and sadistic occupation. And no matter how much she tried to ignore the fact that she was totally alone in this world, the vindictive reality of her life always lingered in the back of her mind like a spirit refusing to cross over; an omen that would always loiter with her no matter what. "I should sleep in the southern woods tonight, alot less traffic." She told herself mentally as she strolled along the eventful streets, making her way south of the crowd.

((You read my mind. X3 I was actually going to suggest something like that, since I remembered that from what I read of Bregan D'aerthe, they're primarily if not entirely a male group. XP))
Mikaril saw the disgruntled look of the girl and actually smiled, bringing a dark hand up to cover it. You would think that a female would like a display of humility from a male, since it was pretty much expected. Still, you got all sorts in a market city; perhaps she was just tired of the whole system. Mikaril shrugged; either way it was no concern of his. He saw her on the move once more, and he strove to keep up, just a few feet behind her. He knew he had the disadvantage in this place; he had never been to this city before, but he was confident that he would be able to get his sense of direction organized fairly rapidly. After all, he mused as he tried to quickly squeeze past a group of dwarves who were all but blocking the street, it wasn't even a place he was looking for.
((There are woods in the Underdark? oO Or is she going to the surface?))

{{Gah! Sorry Dx I keep forgetting the setting of this RP. Scratch the whole 'woods' thing! I'm so use to non-drow RP's xD }}
Jeaden kept at a steady pace walking southward, slowly and steadily the crowd begin to thin to a mere trickle. Jeaden stifled a yawn and kept moving forward,"God, I need to rest..." She breathed heavily as she trudged on," Hmm, I saw an abandoned shack up this way earlier." She muttered to herself as she racked her brain, trying to remember how far back the shack was from her current location,"I'll sleep there tonight." She concluded .
After a few moments of silent walking a dilapidated looking shack came into view, it's roof was missing some tile and the wood on the outside bore lichens and moss; the front door was also kicked in. Jaeden puckered brow and sighed," I guess it'll do, I've slept in much worse places." She enlightened herself mentally as she made her way towards the shed. Jaeden stepped through the threshold with extreme vigilance, the pungent scent of mold overwhelmed Jaeden's nostrils. Once she was sure that the shack was clear of danger, she supressed a sigh and wrenched her patchwork blanket out of her leather rucksack that was slung over her shoulder. she placed it on the floor in a dark corner and curled up using her bag as pillow. "I'll sleep like a rock tonight." She giggled to herself softly.

((That's okay! I tend to assume that everyone else knows more about drow than I do, since the Drizzt stories are all I've read; I thought maybe you were referring to a mushroom forest or something. XD))
Mikaril grew more nervous as the crowd grew noticeably thinner; it would become a lot harder to blend in when there was nobody around. Still, there were plenty of deep shadows to disappear into, provided he kept his cloak over his armor and stayed quiet. He noticed with some hope that his quarry seemed to kow perfectly well where she was going, and was further encouraged when he saw her enter a rather run-down area of the city and make her way to an apparently abandoned shack. By his reckoning, it looked like the perfect place for a hideout or for a secret rendezvous. It never occured to him that the girl might just be looking for a place to stay the night. He dashed and snuck from shadow to shadow until he was right up at the entrance of the shack. He wrinkled his nose at the rancid smell of mold and rotten wood, and lowered himself until he could carefully peek through the door and into the shack. He saw the form of the girl in a corner and his brow furrowed in puzzlement. This was no meeting of thieves; just a shelter for a weary soul. Disappointment rose up inside of him and took the form of a painful lump in his throat. Another dead end. He would have to start over, and already the better part of a day was wasted. He let the smallest of sighs escape, and turned to leave the sleeper in peace. He suddenly brought his foot down on a dry piece of wood that had fallen off of the shack's front door. The resulting snap sounded to Mikaril as loud as though someone had just shouted in his ear, and he visibly winced.
((Clumsy little boy. X3))

(( Yeah, same here :3 I have alittle knowledge of them thanks to wiki xD ))
The sharp snapping sound resonated within Jeaden's ears and in one fluid motion she was up, weapon drawn, and it's blade pressed gently to Mikaril's neck,"Well, well, who do we have here?" She said in a seductive voice as she leaned around to get a better look of who was under the cloak,"Oh! Your that guy from the noodle stand earlier." She sounded somewhat surprised as she let her weapon down from his neck and held it at her side."What do you want?" Jeaden demanded,"And don't try anything funny, I guarantee you I could kill you before you lay a finger on me." Executing with agility was one of Jaeden's best attributes, strength on the other hand was not. So if he got ahold of her, if he did decide to fight her, would not be great for Jeaden. Taking a bit of extra caution, Jaeden took a few steps away from the stranger but made sure to keep a firm grip on her weapon," Well? I would like to hear an explanation as to why you followed me." She stated in a callous voice.
(( I hope it does not sound like i'm trying to Godmode D: Jaeden's just alittle bit prideful ))

((Nah; god-moding to me would be her actually hurting him. XP))
Mikaril blinked in surprise and shock as he felt the cold steel against his neck. A bunch of thoughts in his mind jostled for position at that moment: her speed most definitely suggested something other than an average female, and the fact that she did not go ahead and kill him right then and there suggested it even more. He straightened up as he felt the steel lift from his neck, and he carefully adjusted his hood to make sure it still covered what he wanted covered. He made no move to draw his dagger, but he took comfort in it being within reach. He considered for an instant taunting the female, instilling doubt in her mind by questioning whether or not she would be able to carry out her threat and kill him where he stood, but he felt that that would be pushing it; females were after all well-known for being temperamental. Besides, it was his error that had brought this situation about, and he felt partially responsible. He decided on shifting his cloak so that the weapon was at least visible; no harm in letting her know that he was no weak little underling; and forced himself to meet her gaze squarely as he answered. "I followed you because I had hoped that you would lead me to someone I was searching for. You...." He chose his words carefully. "You seem the sort that he might associate with in his profession."

A baleful grin curled upon Jaeden's full lips as she gazed fiercely at the male,"Now, let's not beat around the bush. If you need my help then I need your help because I can't very well answer that question without the name of who you are searching for." She placed her hands on her hips, the dagger still clamped within her grasp,"So? Who is this person your looking for?" She asked in a demanding tone while keeping her eyes on the male. Mikaril sighed and blew his bangs out of his eyes. "Well, if you aren't of the group, then there's no need to concern yourself with the doings of a male." He wasn't sure why he was deliberately avoiding the question; perhaps because he hadn't heard his brother's name spoken for so long; his mother forbade it, and none of his other siblings cared enough. Or peraps he feared that speaking his brother's name to this unknown female might put his brother in danger, and chaos factor or no, he would not willingly place in danger the only person in his entire frustrating existence that had actually given a damn about what he thought. He searched for a compromising answer. "But if you're really that intent, I'm looking for a group known as the Bregan D'aerthe."
