Folded gingerly around herself the large dragon kitsu slept only to awake as the run rose. A thin layer frost covered her graceful body. The dew froze during the early morn causing the frost to cement itself upon all the plants and unmoving creatures. Skadi didn't mind in the least shaking herself to remove the frost she stood gracefully stretching herself, as would a cat and shaking the sleep from her eyes. A smile played upon the dragon's face as she gazed about her surroundings.
The suns rays began to warm the earth and melt the morning frost. Skadi looked at the trees and the shrubs, as the last bits of frost sparkling like thousands of diamonds disappeared into water vapor.
It was time to get the day done. Skadi began her trek to the lake.

The morning light was always something to behold. Maw opening to a wide degree as a pseudo-yawn, he stretched all his muscles to loosen up after the long night. Dark claws dug into the earth, as he trotted foreward a few steps. Karin's yellow eyes blinked, adjusting to the oncoming light. Watching the sun rise and set was always so much of a sense-enriching experience. Though, the dragon kitsu couldn't help but wonder what other experiences he always missed out on.
Like, sleeping. Or companionship.
Shaking his hime green crest loose of morning dew, he set out for the lake. It was early morning, so there shouldn't be anyone else there... Or so he figured.

Glancing to the side Skadi could have sworn she heard something, she growled slightly but when nothing appeared from the trees she relaxed and continued to the lake. Skadi wondered if there was other dragon kitsu around. Never had she seen any although from normal Kitsusagi she had heard about them, even snow Kitsusagi had told her of others but still she hadn't laid her blue eyes on them. Skadi gave a sigh before continuing on toward the lake.
Ah there it was.
Waters gently rippling against the lake shore being pushed by the light wind that rustled the tree tops. Skadi reached the edge of the lake and bent down to drink her fill.

A sound reached his ears, flicking one up to try and catch the sound. Though, the only thing that greeted him was the twack of his dark red crystal against his head. Well, maybe he just imagined the sound... Shrugging lightly, he headed towards the sound of the water.
The smooth clear lake came into sight, putting a little more pep into Karin's step. Only a few more steps--
The green and white dragon kitsu froze, when he spotted another by the lake's edge. A dragon, not unlike himself, colored in a beautiful contrast of black with different hues of blue and even white. Cautious to keep a small distance between himself and the female, incase she was territorial, Karin approached the water's edge and took a small drink.

Raising her ears Skadi twitched hearing a sound rustling in the bush. Suddenly on alarm she twirled around and noticed another dragon kitsu. Wasn't that rare... She watched him keep a distance from her and she gave a nod.
"Who are you?" she asked relaxing a bit seeing as he wasn't aggressive towards her. Skadi took another quick drink flicking her ears in his direction waiting for his reply.
She wasn't territorial just careful, but there was a point in being to careful...
