Ramus was searching with intent on finding Dafina and geting her from her grandfathers oppresive clutchs. tossign his head, he had gained muscle and also more experiance in fighting by geting his grandfatther to teach him. though he knew there was a chance that he would get his a** kicked again he had to attempt again. snortng, he searched about, hoping to catch sight of her.

Dragonfly had been moving his herd constantly after the little confrontation with his granddaughter's little 'friend'. Soon it would be summer and the mountain path that lead to his home range would be clear of snow and frost.
Once that happened, he would take his herd back home. Now that his search was over. He hadn't gotten exactly what he wanted, but this was good enough.
Having left his herd in the care of his son and a few other young stallions who traveled with them, he went off on his own for the time being. Leading all of these Soquili and listening to their qualms about one thing or another was certainly stressful.
He just needed a bit of time to himself.

Ramus snorted as he went along, picking his way threw the area carefully to try adn find any sign that Dafina's grandfathers herd been about. grumbling to himself so far he had little luck and was starting to wonder if he should stop for now. stopping where he was he stompped a hoof in irritation at the fact dafina's grandfather constantly had the herd on the move as it ment they where hard to track down and he was no tracker.

Having stopped to graze on a bit of newly grown grass. The older stallion kept a wary ear turned to his surroundings.
And thats when he heard it.
The stomping hoof not too far away.
Raising his head, bright red eyes narrowed in the direction it came from. Braided tail giving a quick snap back and forth as he turned his body. Quietly heading towards whoever it was. Nostrils flaring as he scented the air.
It was someone familiar. Too familiar.

stomping a hoof one last time, he went along again to search for a little while longer. it wouuldnt hurt to see if he might happen to run into dafina again or so he thought. little did he know he was walkign stright into the hoofs of Dragonfly whom he still had a grudge against.

He stopped.
The sound of hoof beats growing closer.
Lifting his head, his eyebrows furrowed as he stared intently at the area in front of him. Eyes focused and body poised. Dragonfly knew who was coming.
He was ready.
If the young stallion had come to take Dafina away again he would send him packing once more. No matter how hard he tried, he would never succeed.

once he was in veiw of dragonfly he stopped dead cold. ears flickign back he had not expected to run into him just yet. hhe could only hope the small amount of teachign from his grandfather would help but it seemed doubtful as he eyed the opposing stallion. gritting his teeth he didnt know wether to make the first move or not.

Dragonfly snorted once more. Nostrils flaring and eyes narrowing even furthur into smaller slits as the brown stallion finally came into view.
His own ears flicked back but only for a moments time. He seemed a bit stronger and muscular from the last time they had met. But he brushed it off. It was a fruitless effort.
"Look who we've got here. Come for my grand daughter again have you? Or just another chance to have your butt handed to you?" His head jerked to the side as a few vertebrae in his neck popped. A heavy hoof pawed at the ground as he squared off with Ramus.
He certainly hadn't expected to fight today. And not quite as soon. Was this young stallion really that daft?

Ramus pawed at the ground a little with flicked back ears as Dragonfly spoke. " more like i come to take dafina back to where she belongs which is with her mother. i highly doubt she enjoys being with you and your herd. and i dont take kindly to insults." baring teeth he was more prepared to fight than he had been last time but it was time to find out if he had done enough preparing.

"Where she belongs? My boy with my herd is exactly where she belongs. It was ordained the moment she was born!" His voice boomed as he cast Ramus a side glance. Eying him carefully.
"You are certainly not even prepared for the fight that it would take to re-claim her. Your stance is all wrong, you leave yourself open to attack. Rushing into something like this like a bull headed pig is not the way to go." He turned his body just slightly as he made motion to leave. Keeping an eye on the young stallion as he did so. "Come back when you truly think and CAN take me on. But by then I'm sure we'll be long gone."

" she doesnt belong there when you have no care what she thinks or feels." head strong and as hot head as his father when riled, he threw with the talking. " i'll take my chances, im not the weak fighter i was before." pawign the ground again, he took his charge right at him even if it ment geting hurt again in the end but he wouldnt find out til he took him on again."

He huffed lightly. "You don't know me as well as you think you do, boy. I care about what she thinks and feels. But that doesn't mean it has any place in her destiny. What she was born to do." Dragonfly watched with slightly lidded as as Ramus pawed at the ground. Eyebrows raised as he was soon being charged and as soon as Ramus was close enough, he stepped to the side.

upon dragonfly stepping to the side as he charged he came to a hault as quick as he could and kicked out in the direction dragonfly had been as he had went stopping to a hault. he hoped his hoofs would connect with something as he had kicked out with his back legs.

Over the years, Dragonfly had come to learn how to watch the muscles of one's opponent that slid beneath the skin. How they rotated and flinched certain ways when the body is used.
It had helped out a lot. Watching what an opponents movement just a split second before it was initiated seemed almost like child's play. But it didn't always work out right in the end. Sometimes he predicted wrong or it became a bit difficult. Ending him up with a few injuries here or there.
The young stallion's hooves had come close. Too closer in fact
Fine. If he wanted a fight, he'd give him a fight. Rearing up, he pivoted on his hooves slightly. And as he came forward his back legs propelled him forward as he moved to try and ram his shoulder into Ramus' back end.

(>3< lame post dont by me but i did make a title xDD)
havign felt nothing connect with his hoofs except ground after he had kicked out he knew he wasnt in the best postition with his back to his enemy. trying to move as quick as possible to get far enough to turn to face, but he was too slow as he got his back end ramed into. grunting, he attempted to retaliate in anyway possible.
