They were met by low morning light, and a group of Crest Brigade as they stepped out of the gate and into Torea, said gate being swiftly deactivated after all were through. A pat to Dhairiss' back as he turned his face into her chest, not liking this sudden bright tint to the air and what not.
Malikhai bowed his head lightly to shade his eyes more against the light. His eyes would adjust fast what with the moon elf gold in them, but it would still take a bit. He did breathe in the air though, testing the lightness of it as well as how chock full of pollen and the like it was. Sneezing was the result. "Bleck, pollens."
He chuckled, standing there with arms crossed. Tyyrael has already been informed of all of this, obviously because of Fianna's paper requesting and what not mostly. "Well well, the House D'vinn has come to grace Andal once more." Holding out his hand expectantly with a half amused smile on his face. He liked Malik honestly...a little trouble causing was nice sometimes. Even personal barb picking, long as the plane was fine. "Papers for your entourage?"
--
"I don't care what anyone says, I want to see her." Well, he wasn't running a fever constantly anymore but he certinally wasn't well yet. Fire and runic imbuned things were not an injury anyone was taking lightly or were too willing to try and quick heal. He was more or less a caged bird at this point both by family and friends. Kieran could deal with that and could respect their opinions on his health...but he was not going to stand for Fianna being cast in such a light as to paint her feelings ill and the like. So he was having another current moment where he was brooding as he was sitting up in bed and they weren't letting him leave...and she wasn't either allowed or willing to come see him. She was probably scared to death.

Malik hated sunlight. so it did get a frown from him, before a smirk at Tyyrael.
"Someone has to keep your lazy Brigade on it's toes from time to time."
Before handing over the paperwork.
"And this time, you'll even get a chance to put me in prison for it, and not someone who has no idea what I'm up to. Has Kieran's errand boy been about? Or Swiftfeather?"
Glancing back at Kaelin, and handing over one of the mana vials.
"You'll need it."
before back to the brigade master.
"So, who are the lucky ones that are going to be playing D'vinn monitors this time?"

Galesen sighed in annoyance when they appeared on Andal, he kept his head low enough so the light didn't enter his eyes but he still had to squint. Though he did turn his head lightly when he heard a familiar voice. "Well Tyyrael it's good to see you again, came by to greet us all? That's nice of you." A small smile from him before he looked to Malik and then back to the Brigade Master. "Yeah I was wondering that myself. Will Valeessen and Arhylia be watching over me again?" A small chuckle from him before he coughed lightly. Damn Andal air, though at least when he got use to it he would feel a lot better.

Confused and bewildered, she stepped through and was immediately glad that they had warned her about the cloak. She stayed behind the others, unwilling to look at anybody or anything. Swallowing down the mana, she felt her eyes water but no sneezing or coughing.
Lyssie, being younger and more adaptable was fine after short time standing there. She began looking around, merely squinting when the light was too bright and sneezed a few times. "Bless me!" Faate on the other hand, was a mess. She was sneezing and coughing and choking and felt her throat closing up and her eyes tearing. Big time. "A-aunt Piper!"
-- Glancing up from the scroll he was perusing, ready to summarize for Kieran, he rolled his eyes and opened his mouth to say something but was quickly cut off by Ahkallyn.
"Absolutely not!" Crossing his arms and shaking his head. "How can you still wish to see her when she tried to kill you? Or did you forget that it is because of her that you are in bed like this?" Pushing his son forcefully back down in the bed. "I refuse to allow it."

He always found it partially amusing how the underground living elves had trouble handling surface air. Their own Obsidian didn't suffer from the problem as much, but hey he was in for good humor. "On our toes, yes I suppose. Though as much joy I would find by snatching your freedom for a while, I'm sure you'll do you best to behave, yes?" Taking papers and looking them over before handing them off to one of the others. "I've not heard from either of them...as you probably know things are well...tense right now." Giving a nod then to Galesen, "Galesen has the right idea. Valeessen and Arhylia will be at your beck and call if you need them though they won't be actively covering your every move. I think I can award you all that much of my trust yes?"
Turning his eyes to the group of young elves. "Brought a whole pack with you, hm?" Giving a little twist of fingers in runing to Faate's choking, more or less flushing air things out of ther system for the moment to give her a bit of relief. "I see your boy's grown up quite a bit from last I saw him. And I have no clue who any of the others are at all." Pointing to them though, "I assume that one is yours and the rest are...someone else's and that one is...Galesen's?"
Piper patted Faate on the back and took a vial of mana from Malik's pocket, uncorking it and handing it to the girl. "Calm down Faate, you're okay. Just drink that and calm down some. It won't be so bad when we get to Farhian." Rubbing at the girl's back in soothing manner to try and help her calm down. At least Lyssie was quick to find the fun in it all. A whistle though which brought a breath of heated wind...meaning of course the arrival of nightmares and zephyrs.
He was trying not to bounce with excitment. He always did love coming here...he wasn't even squinting anymore and merely gave a chuckle and a crest brigade style salute to Tyyrael. "Bigger and full of more surprises than ever. Almost could of brought news of a tournament win with me. But I got my butt kicked in the end." Chuckling in that teenage way before reaching over to touch a hand to Kaelin's arm just to let her know everything was okay.
-- He watched his friend, shaking his head as he knew he was about to be reprimanded like a child...and he hardly had a head for work anyway right now. Though he was momentarily distracted by his father....whom Kieran had been trying to convince himself was only being harsh for reasons of good health. Elaria had been trying to convince her son of that as well. Eyes rimmed by light dark circles however kept to his father's. "It was an accident. How many times must I tell you that. Have you never come upon a wood elf and startled them? They are the jumpy elves, remember? If she wanted to kill me, I'd be dead. A wood elf never misses the mark when they mean their shot." Sighing out an exasperated breath looking once again to Lateef and trying to pretend his father wasn't playing watchdog. "Must we continue with work today? I should be resting and you should be with your family." A new baby and an injured friend who could count as your brother was probably more stressful for his friend.

"Two are mine, two are another family that is part of my House, and one is a friend of my eldest son's. and you can feel free to regal about tournament. you held your own even in a loss against a vastly superior opponent. and the last is a new recruit to the House, hopefully in time he'll be in at least as much shape as I've gotten Galesen into."
before giving another smirk to the Brigade Leader.
"Just enough rope to hang myself with. how considerate. Oh and Faate here...she's studying runes. maybe you two can talk shop sometime while she's here."
before a slight chuckle.
"Yes, I heard about the 'attempted assassination'. as I am sure the elder silvercrest is painting it. I plan on causing some mischief, indeed. there's a regal party event soon, I believe, and I won't pass up the opportunity to test the young ruler or pester the older silvercrest."

She very nearly panicked when suddenly there were horses...and lots of them. There was a niggling feeling that these were not nearly as nice as Kerick had been. Quick glance to Malikhai before she stepped back and held the cloak over her face to block out anything in the air. See, this hadn't been a good idea...
Between runes and the mana, she settled into the environment with a few more coughs and sneezes. She knew if she allowed herself to freak out, she'd hyperventilate and nobody wanted that, least of all her. Watching her sister carefully, she blinked as Lyssie raced over to the horses and started petting them. "I'm Lyssie!" Waving to the other elf and then turning back to petting and being a happy little elf.
-- "Yes, I think we're done for the day. This can wait." Shaking his head and giving Ahkallyn a look. "Didn't Elaria want your help with something, Ahkallyn? I thought I heard her tell you earlier that she was going to need you." Setting the scroll off to the side to be dealt with later, he checked Kieran's forehead and replaced the compress the healer had prescribed to keep the fever down. "Isle and Caprice are giving the baby a bath. They told me two was plenty."
"I make it a priority not to." Sniffing and then echoing his son's exasperated sigh. "I tell that woman all the time that I am not the one to ask about napkins and plates and other nonsense." Muttering under his breath as he strolled from the room.

"Tournaments already? Quite the taste for success I see in that one." Chuckling lightly and crossing his arms behind his back, resting them in the small. "I try to please, but another little rune mage in the making or just a casual fling with pretty designs. That is the question that needs asking." Grinning at the little elf and giving her a wave back to satisfy her before back to grown up matters. But one of those 'don't remind me' looks at the mention of said incident. "He is making a fuss...and if I didn't know those two like I do I think I would believe him. Notice that she hasn't been locked away though, much to the Elder Silvercrest's displeasure mind you. I get a letter everyday on it. So please, not too much mischeif...and yes the Arch are doing such things in Carris. They do like to show off. That being said...you all might as well get on your ways. I have my own business to attend to and you are here for pleasure. Let's not mix the two." Thusly off with him with a hand signals to those with him to follow.
"I think I'll save my bragging." His attention was on Kaelin. She...wasn't handling this well and that wasn't good. "Hey Kaelin it's alright...they're my parents and a few of their own. Just as nice as Kerick...except for Ramoth, but she's mean to everyone because she can be. Need them to cross the water...you want to ride with me or on your own?" Throwing out the option even if he really already knew the answer. "Or you know...you can always go back if you think you're going to be miserable..." Not panning well.
"There see?" Giving a vial to Dhairiss who drank it down with some fuss but settled easily enough and was starting to look around. Seemed her and Lyssie were going to be the ones who were better off for the moment. Walking over to horses, she gave Serino a pet and then pulled him over as well as one of the others. "Okay kids, double up and let's get going. Sooner we get all you up to higher ground the better. I can't have you all passing out on me and such.
He....wasn't sure how he felt about all of this. He was used to the surface so he was having no problem about such things but it was a tad different around here...he just didn't think he liked all the water or this apparent guard of sorts.
-- He had to grin lightly. "You think he's ever going to catch on that she's not really the one asking?" They had been doing that since childhood really. But mother always had something for father to do anyway so it worked. Letting his friend do what he felt was best for his health without fuss. Nope, not the situation that bothered him...just other aspects of it. But another sigh, shifting some to try and find some comfort. "I just wish he'd stop hovering...I'll be perfectly fine...eventually. Besides when he's all worked up he starts to get Lharika upset too. That's the last thing she needs right now." Shaking his head lightly. "How goes things with a baby in the picture anyway? I'm all out of the loop."

He let his wife handle that, though giving a glance to Faate.
"Runemage in the making, I think."
though listening to the information being passed along, and glancing at Kaelin.
"Alright, everyone up on horseback, we're heading to the mountains. air's thinner, but far less polluted with pollens, so it'll be easier on us that breathe."
Giving a nod to the brigade master.
"I'll keep it small mischief. though if I have anytihng to do with you getting two letters a week from old silvercrest than one, don't mind me."

Galesen blinked a few times, well he was slowly coming around, having taken a few trips up to Andal every so often helped a little though he knew her was far from being good. "Good I'll be happy to see them again, thanks Tyyrael." Though a blink as the man asked if Mykorian was his own child. Laughing, following by a few coughs, he shook his head a little. "No he's just like me, someone who Malik has taken in under the house name." A look back and forth between Malik and the Master and he smiled a little, seemed like it was a good thing to come along this time, he would get to see how the others are going to react to Malik. Though suddenly it was time to get going, so Galesen called to Barhnel and got on, and waited for the others before patting Barhnel's side. "You know where to go too boy, just like last time as always."

She never handled small animals well or large ones for that matter. "I'd like to ride with you, if you don't mind." Latching to his arm and walking over with him. She remembered how things went last time and let him help her up on the nightmare of his choice and locked her arms around his waist so she could use him to block the sun.
"Go ride with Uncle Malik. I'm riding with him." Pushing Lyssie towards her uncle and then gesturing Mykorian over to a zephyr so he could ride with her. He was pretty quiet and she'd much rather be with him than with her pesky little sister.
-- Grinning, he shook his head. "It's so simple which is the beauty of it. Elaria caught on a long time ago..." Settling back into his chair and propping his feet up on Kieran's bed. "I wish I knew. If Isle isn't holding him then Caprice is and if Caprice isn't then Lharika is. Women and babies." Shaking his head. "He's my grandson but I've got to steal him from his crib at night just to be able to hold him."

He was resigned to the thought of having to ride somehwere again behind Galesen, but apparently Faate had other plans for him and he headed over to her, pulling himself up on the horse and settling in for the ride.
He smiled at her. "Fair enough." Helping her up and then mounting up behind her, waiting for the others to do so as well before they started out. A familiar ride to a familiar palce...though admittedly they took the semi-scenic route, letting the horses reacclimate before they were allowed to put on speed or even element jump. His eyes were roving the landscape at the moment as they were heading through mountain trails, the sounds of the busy moon elven city starting to be picked up as they continued on. "Does granddad know we're coming?"
"If your grandmother didn't tell him, he doesn't. Surprise." Petting at Dhairiss' hair as he sat in front of her, just taking in the sights as she led, much to Ramoth's displeasure but she was just going to have to deal. "Alright boys and girls, since it's your first time here...do remember your manners. If you have questions please do them in polite fashion until we get to the palace." The trail of them instantly getting looks as they wandered through gates, but most of them were at least recognition to who they all were.
-- "Where do you think I get my smarts from?" Chuckling lightly follow by a cough and a cringe at pain. That was the blah part...that it still hurt. "Oh come now...ever just ask? That's the way new mothers are. Fianna was taking Malikhai away from Piper for a while in the beginning. Is that where Lharika has been lately? And here I was worried she was causing trouble. No worries old friend, I'm sure that you'll get to have your fun soon enough...Isle will eventually get that itch to go out and about again. She'll need a babysitter. But it seems...you're babysitting me for now, hm?"

Malik let Ramoth steam a bit before they got toward the mountainous area, keeping ot the trails and giving a slight grin as the light got good enough to let his hood down and breathing got much easier.
Of course once inside the city state of the moon elves, Malik made no qualms about heading directly for the palace proper. no sleepign in inns for his family and guests.
Of course once there, he walked in without a second thought to it.
"Oh grandfather silvercrest! you favorite grandson in law is here!"

Elaria met them in the hall with a rather surprised look on her face. "Piper? I didn't know you were coming..." And that was a lot of guests as well. Popping straight into hostess mode, she snapped her fingers. "Have the guest rooms readied, we have guests." Folding her hands and resting them against her abdomen. "Oh and my great-grandsons, too." Walking over to Malikhai and pulling him into a hug. "Last time I saw you, you were so little." And onto Dhairiss but brushing her lips over Piper's cheeks. "And this must be the newest addition. You look just like your grandfather." Then onto Malik. "Malik, please don't rile him. He's extremely stressed with Kieran laid up right now."
-- "I know. That's why I let them spoil him during the day and I hang out with him at night. He sleeps and I get to just stare at him and wonder why I was so lucky." Shaking his head and crossing his arms. "I'm always babysitting you or getting you out of some form of trouble or another." Pausing a moment as he was called to the door. He spoke with the servant girl and nodded then turned back to his friend, grinning. "You'll never guess who is downstairs right now."

When they reached the city Galesen felt strong enough to remove his hood, when he did he had to squint just a little but after a little while he was able to see. Though the only problem was the pollen, his lungs still needed time to get use to them. So Galesen followed those in front of him, passing through the city before heading on up to the palace. But once they reached said palace the elf blinked in confusment before looking at the others about Malik's behavior. The man has only been here for just a little amount of time and he was going to start things this soon? "Here we go." Smiling he slowly got off Barhnel and gave his horse an apple. Quickly he grabbed some of his bags and followed Malik inside, blinking as he looked around a bit. He knew Kerian was not going to come greet them but where was Lateef? Though suddenly there was Elaria and soon enough the servants went about helping them, his bags were then taken from his hands. "It's good to see you again Elaria." A small dip of his head as a sign of respect, out of the two elder elves he liked her the most of course.
