As she slowly opened her eyes, Caprice was met by the blinding light of the sun shining down upon her. While shielding her eyes, Caprice also gave a little shiver. Despite the lovely shine of the sun, the morning air was crisp and chilly.
As her eyes gradually got use to the sun, Caprice stood to stretch her legs. After hopping around in a couple of circles and giving her tail a good long stretch, Capricee gazed admiringly at the ocean shore. Like usual, the water was tossing and turning under the forceful wind. Taking in a deep breath, Caprice went into a full force sprint towards the water. She was knee deep in the water before the shock of the ice cold water hit her.
"EKKKKK! COLD!" Caprice squeeled as she ran back towards the sandy shore. Once back on the shore, Caprice danced around the water's edge. She wanted to swim terribly, but the water was ridculously cold!

A chuckle escaped the mouth of the stallion Silver Storm. The winged male had happened to come into the open at the exact time that the mare a ways off let out a squeal. Arching a brow he allowed his legs to carry him into the sand and towards the fish like horse. "I'd expect it to be cold this time of year." He called out to her amusement obvious in his tone as he came to a halt, hooves sinking partially into the sand.
He flicked his head attempting to rid himself of the locks of his mane that continuously fell into his eyes as he keep his dark eyes upon her. "If you really want to swim you'll have to brave the cold dear," he commented still amused despite the annoyance of his mane.

Caprice immediately stopped her dancing when she heard laughing off in the distance. Turning around, she had no problem identifying the source of the sound. Walking towards her on the sand was a large stallion with wings. He also had far more accessories than any other horse she'd seen. For a moment, all Caprice could do was stare as the stallion approached; his great wings made him seem worthy of admiration.
"Oh, but the sun's so bright!" Caprice said with a hint of whine in her voice. "Guess I'll have to find something else to do." She continued, skipping over towards the new horse.

"The sun can be deceiving darlin." Silver Storm replied studying her carefully while making sure he wasn't completely obvious about it. She was interesting to look at, he had never seen a mare that looked quite like her. He had to be honest he never thought he'd see a horse with fins, obviously he was wrong.
"Silver Storm's the name, and you are?" The stallion inquired figuring that for now small talk was all he needed to do, later he could move onto different things. It just depended on how much this female interested him.

"Guess so!" Caprice chirped, finally giving up on the idea of swimming. But meeting someone new was far more interesting than swimming in the same ocean she swam in everyday.
As the man quickly chimed in his name, Caprice couldn't help but think how much it suited him. Silver Storm! It was almost like a super hero's name. "I'm Caprice." She answered, giving a slight nod while she grinned. Being the curious and outgoing creature that she was, Caprice then popped in with, "I like your clothes, they're very pretty. Where'd you get 'em?" Caprice had only seen a horse who wore clothes once before, but they were nothing like this stallion's.
"All I get are these scales! But I guess I would just get clothes wet anyway."

"Pretty name for a pretty damsel Caprice." Silver Storm retorted grinning at himself and what he thought to be a smooth way of talking. Quickly however he continued the conversation as soon as she spoke to him again. "Thank you darlin' but to be honest I'm not sure where I got them, I've always had them I suppose." He rolled his shoulder's back in a shrug as he replied. It was the truth, he had been wearing what he was for as long as he could remember, which really wasn't that long.
"Now dear, clothes aren't what makes someone beautiful, it's the natural beauty." He told her ignoring the fact that he was sure that wasn't what she had meant. However they were important to what he was going to say next. "Those scales on you Caprice darlin' are the natural beauty that's all yours. Anyone can get some clothes but not everyone can have scales, especially pretty ones like yours."

At being called 'pretty', Caprice couldn't help but smile and avert her eyes down towards the sand. She didn't want Silver Storm to think she had a big ego or anything. But the matter of fact was no one had ever said that to her before.
For some reason, Silver Storm had the ability to capture his attention when he talked. Caprice wasn't sure if it was his way of talking, or what, but she was engulfed in what he was saying. But she was not prepared for what he said next. At Silver Storm's next comment, Caprice could feel her face start to get warmer. Being primarily blue, Caprice knew a red blush would probably be all too obvious.
"He, thanks. I try to keep them shiny..." Was all Caprice could find to say.

The stallion was very aware of the blush that was creeping up on the mare's features, however he decided it was best to pretend if he didn't, see how it went. "You do a wonderful job darlin'," he stated with a pleasant nod of his head. "Since swimming is out of the option why don't you take a walk with me?" He offered a small smile forming on his lips, not a smirk like he usually carried.
It was amusing to Silver Storm to watch the female be humble despite the compliments he kept sending her way. It was different than others he had met. Taking a few steps forward he cocked his head back his dark crimson colored eyes studying her as he waited to see if she would follow. "Maybe we'll find you a warmer place to swim Caprice darlin'."

Caprice knew her face was still burning slightly, but she didn't let that hold her back. Besides, if Silver Storm was going to make some comment about it he would have already done so. Not to mention he seemed too much of a gentleman to anything of that manner. "I'd love to go for a walk!" Caprice said as she turned her back to the ocean.
Caprice couldn't help but feel a twing of excitment surge through her. She honestly thought the male would be gone by now; but to her surpise, and delight, it looked like he would be sticking around.
"That would be nice also. But if not, that's no problem." Caprice chimed happily as she followed Silver Storm's lead. "Is there some place in specific you want to go?"

Silver Storm's smile broadened when she accepted his proposal, although he had expected her to, and he bowed his head. "I am thrilled that you'd like to join me darlin'." He stated his head still bowed tilting it just enough to peek out at her with his red eyes through the locks that fell over his features. Once she was closer he lifted his head eyes still upon her as he waited for her to be at his side.
Once she caught up with him completely he began walking. "I think I know of a place whose water might be warmer." He replied his eyes leaving her form to watch where he was walking. It wouldn't do him good to look like a fool by tripping over himself now would it? "Well, unless you have a place you wish to go, I have a quiet place in mind that has a nice lake."
