A nice spring breeze was about. It made Barsaat rather relaxed. His favorite time of the year was just around the color. His blue fur made it easy for anyone to spot him from a far. He bobbed his tail. He let a yawn escape him and stood up for a nice stretch. The air was filled with the sweet smell of flowers almost as if someone had sprayed a mellow body mist near by.
The sun was about almost in the middle of the sky telling him it was early, but not that early. All the dew upon the leaves and grass had fully evaporated by now. He started to move from the nice little tree he had fallen a sleep under. It wasn't a forest, in fact, where he was was more like a field of low grass with bits of high grass here and there. But most of it low from the deer and other creatures munching away at it during the nights.

The colors of the little male kit quickly gave him away as he jumped through the field. There weren't any pretty girls out today, so he saw no point in even being out. His orange eyes looked across the small field. The multicolored kit's fluffy tail wagged a little as he went along.
What was there to do today? Slowly he found himself approaching the other male, but they hadn't spotted one another just yet. His eyes were too busy searching for a pretty female kit to try and flirt with.

Something very colorful caught Barsaat's eye as it jumped threw the field. He raised an eye brow, and decided to go that way. He was wondering what it was. Not remembering bunnies that hopped so weird like that. Closer he got, he soon realized it was a Ulaya kit. He hadn't seen one in a very long time. He crept closer, trying to make his presence known, rather then sneaking totally up on the little guy. He didn't want to scare it to death.

Niji's orange eyes flew towards the blue male. He stopped bouncing and stood still. He knew someone would see him, since his white fur and his colorful spots easily gave him away. It was strange that no one in his family had spots but the little kit. Niji let his dark orange eyes look to the blue male's light orange ones.

Barsaat figured he scared the poor thing, since it stopped moving. Then he too came to a stop, but it wasn't because he wanted to, no.... He wasn't paying attention where he was walking and stumbled over his own feet. A loud thump sound came as he landed face first into the earth below him. "Ouch" he said in a low out of breath voice. It took a moment before he actually started moving.
Sitting up he looked about to see what he tripped on, but didn't see anything. Still not realizing he tripped himself. "Oh...." He said as he continued to look around rather dumbly.

Niji continued to watch the male as he fell face first into the ground. It looked like a painful face plant, but Niji was too entertained to speak or move. His coral colored face made an odd gesture to the male as he became confused. How... clumsy this ulaya was.
He began moving again as the male stood up and spoke to himself. "Who are you talking to?" Niji asked, looking around for any sign of another ulaya. He saw nothing and decided that this ulaya was a little... on the crazy side.

He looked up remembering that there was someone else around. "Oh! oh. I saw you, and well you seemed lost!" He said not sure why he thought of that for a second. In fact, he didn't even remember why he started towards the young male. Perhaps he just needed to talk to someone?

Niji shook his head in response then added with the shake, "No, I'm not lost. You seem a little lost though. You don't know the ground that well." His eyes darted around in search of anything interesting. This blue male was a little interesting, but not too interesting. His orange eyes blinked then turned back to the male.

He gave a nervous chuckle. He knew the ground well, it was his feet he fell over, but he wasn't about to say that. "no no.. I just wasn't paying attention!" He said with another nervous chuckle. He wagged his tail as he look at the kit. "You have tons of colors!" of course, he was sure the other knew that.

Niji nodded his head at the male's answer. He looked at the dirt below them then at the male. There wasn't much to trip on though, so it was probably true that he wasn't paying attention. "Yes, thanks to my mother I guess... and you are really... blue." His orange eyes blinked as he listened to the area surrounding them, there wasn't much to do, no pretty girls were around.

Indeed he was really blue, which made him stick out so well. Though, in water he could hide good. Made for good games if he could find someone to play with him. He laughed. "Oh, yeah. Well I'm sure there are more blue ulaya out there" Or at least he hoped. Seeing how this male was the first ulaya he'd seen ever.

Niji thought about all the ulaya he had seen over his small life time. There was his father, no blue, his sister, no blue, his mother, blue tail, and then his brother, who had some blue on him. "The only blue ulaya I know is my brother and my mother, but they don't have that much blue on them." He said, flicking one of his spotted ears.

"Well, you can't really choose your color of fur" He said. Though, if he could, he wouldn't have. Barsaat, not so surprisingly, loved blue. Anything blue was just awesome. It was a color he'd always like.d "Both my parents were blue, or what I remember of them." He didn't really remember much of them. It was so long ago, and they had never really been a big part of his life growing up. They were always gone "hunting" They would say. But he was sure they had just left him, and forgot about him, then remembered about him.

Niji nodded his head a little at what the blue male said. The kit thought of what colors he would make himself. He would probably like to just be white like his father was. "My dad is white with a horn and lights tied around him and my mom is green, red, whiteish, and blue." Little ears flicked a little as he spoke about his family. His mother he didn't remember too well. They had only met once and his father mainly took care of him and his siblings. His orange eyes looked up to the blue male's face.

Barsaat smiled at the young boy. "Well that must be good to have siblings!" He said not remembering if he did or not. Though, he knew it was fun to be around others, so perhaps it was the same way? He nodded. "That's awesome. Though if your dad is white, and your mom is those colors, why do you have so many spots. Or is your mom spotted?" It confused him a bit, but he never really got things like that. He looked a bit of both parents, and nothing weird added.
