I love Joss Whedon's humor. It makes every single episode worth watching over and over again. I was rewatching the pilot episode last night, and I'm never going to get sick of it.
"If anyone tries anything, shoot em. You know, politely."
"We don't want to go to Patience."
"Why not?"
"She shot you."
"That was due to a perfectly legitimate conflict of interest. I got no grudge."
I love Mal's heart and willingness to shoot first, instead of waving his gun around.
Inara for her strength and never backing down.
Zoe for being a warrior woman but still loving her family life.
Book for not being overly preachy, but still maintaining his faith.
Simon for sticking by River always.
River for being herself, even if that means she a little unusual.
Kaylee for being optimistic always.
Wash for letting Zoe be the one in control and of course, his dinosaurs.
Jayne for always speaking his mind, even when that means he looks like an idiot.
