We've roamed the wild country
My beautiful yellow eyes,
Side by side we've hunted
Shadows dancing on northern skies.
There have been times of plenty
We were content and serene,
Peacefully sleeping
Dangers few and far between.
We've also known much hunger
Ribs protruding from each side,
Mournfully we howled
When our starving cubs had died.
And then there was our first winter
Romping thru the glistening snow,
Tasting each crystal snowflake
Falling gently to and fro.
Ah my dear, sweet yellow eyes
I've known no greater love,
Without you, I am nothing
Our wild souls are one.
And now you lay there dying
Steel jaws upon your frame,
Life's blood slowly seeping
I whimper your sweet name.
Helpless, I watch you struggle
Chest heaving with labored breath,
Steel jaws clenching tighter
Winds whisper the song of death.
The blood has now stopped flowing
I know the time is near,
And you will forever leave me
My love, my life, my dear.
And now my world is silent
Your struggles now have ceased,
I lay my head upon you
And know you are at peace.
Perhaps your soul has lifted
To skies where eagles soar,
And there you'll greet your brothers
To run with them forever more.
And someday I shall find you
In the heaven's so far above,
And when our wild soul's unite
There'll be no greater love.

You may post here if your profile is in the wolf profile section.
Every ten pages starts a new month. For example first 10 pages are january then through 20's are febuary, and 30's are march, 40's april, 50's may, 60's june, 70's july, 80's august, 90's september, first ten in 100- october, 20's in first 100 are november, first 30 january...and so on...i will continue that when i want to..

Hades patroled the edge of the packs territory his eyes taking all movement into his mind.

Aya swimming in the cool water of the lake. She shook her furr slightly in the water. She had not a worry in her mind. She flickered her black ears as her dark red eyes watched from left to right at the surroundings. She sighed gently as she was in the water.
Shinta laid there on the edge of the lake. She watched her cousin aya swimming without a care. She had many things running through her mind. She sighed gently as she looked up at the sky.

He came by the lake noticing shinta quickly then aya.Hades sat down watching the two his eyes kept wandering towards shinta but he shook his head eachtime trying to figure out why.

Aya swam to the edge of the lake and shook the water off her black coat."I will be glad when there is a hot spring around here"she said then pawed at her face slightly.
Shinta looked over at hades."Yes"she asked as she swayed her tail from side to side. Her white coat shimmered slightly.She looked to her cousin and nodded in agreement.

When shinta turned her head looking towards him he got up and walked off trying to cover up that he kept looking at her.

Aya sighed gently as she walked to the den sniffing the area slightly then going over to an area that had furs on it.She laid down there gently.
Shinta looked at him walk off and sighed gently.

He sighed as he walked."Why do I keep looking at her whenever I see her."Hades sighed again continueing to patrol the packs territory.

Aya watched out side as it began to snow. She shivvered all over and looked around in the empty den. She wrapped her tail around herself as she shivvered.She had some emergency supplies in the back of the den that no one touched. She went out into the snow and grabbed a few logs nudging them towards the den in her wolf form since it was most warm to stay in.
Shinta looked in the direction that hades left and sighed gently walking toward the den in the snow.

After he finished his patrol he headed back to the den looking about at the snow as it fell."Is it really that time already?"

Tai watched the den from behind a tree, wondering if he should meet with the alpha(s). "Hmmm... would it really be worth it?" He moved slightly making himself a little more comfortable.

Aya got up from her spot and walked out shaking her fur. She looked from left to right swaying her tail.
Shinta and her white coat blending in with the snow walked in the den laying down away from the furs since that was only the alpha spot. She huffed gently.

Tai didn't move. He just stood there watching him as well. Tai wasn't one to run, but he didn't want to get on this packs bad side.
