Well, I use to be able to hybrid an S-ranked turnip with another seed/crop and would be able to turn seed/crop into an S-rank.
I stopped playing the game for a month or two and then tried doing it again, but I just keep getting 2nd generation crops. Am I doing the S-ranked turnip trick wrong or did I just imagine that I use to be able to do that?

Since you haven't been playing for a month or two, you probably are just doing something a little bit wrong with the S-ranked turnip trick because I'm sure you weren't imagining it. Do you remember when you just started the S-ranked trick, did it already work? It could have just been a glitch that all the fruits and vegetables were S-ranked. You might want to overlook what you are doing now, to make sure you're doing it right. Sorry if that was confusing. But basically, I think you may just be doing something a little wrong now or it was a glitch that the S-ranked turnip trick worked.

I know it can work for the trees, so maybe I did imagine it working for crops since a turnip and something else will just hybridize into what it was supposed to be (if that makes since)
