The War Starter Didn't some kid die because he didn't eat or sleep or something? yes but i thought he was european, not asian at any rate, i think it is now safe to say the WoW is probably the reason my uncle doesn't have a girlfriend.

I remember hearing a guy killed himself because his "girlfriend" on starcraft broke up with him.

Gravechylde I remember hearing a guy killed himself because his "girlfriend" on starcraft broke up with him. damn son, someone needs some perspective. i bet in another couple years theyll have rpg-rehab centers. EDIT: no wait, d&d has been around for 20 or 30 years, people have gotten mentally addicted to that, and no "rehab"... i guess they're all just screwed.

I know I've read about this before...but I can't remember if it was in the newspaper or a Gamespot article...But the general gist of it was that there ARE video game=addiction counseling services (or at least planned) in some Asian and European countries.

This one kid went after his sister with a knife and assulted his family because some guy completely thrashed his character. The woman who was helping him recover was talking to hima bout the game because her buyfriend palyed it. In the end, it was her boyfriend who had repeatedly killed the kid's charcter and brought on the breakdown.
