Bell wandered about, dragging her bag. She never worried about holes, for her bag was very strong. Inside were some nuts and berries, along with a few bits of bread and Pokéchow. The Delibird suddenly stopped, looked around, scratched the dirt a bit, then continued on. Bell's feathers were constantly being poofed angrily out and taken suddenly back in in a frightened manner. Obviously she was stressed, but why could not be seen. Bell did not see, hear, or smell anything out of the ordinary, but she had an uncanny feeling that something was nearby. What it was doing or whether it was a threat, she did not know, but she wasn't about to take chances. At last, Bell could not take it any longer. She dropped her bag at her feet and gave a threatening squawk. That would either get the thing in sight or frighten it away. She hoped that it would do the latter, but she was ready to fight if she had to. For an instant, Bell wished for the security of her Pokéball and her trainer Renekai, but she hastily pushed these thoughts away. Bell had gone away so she could be alone. She would not run on home like some Pichu at the first sign of danger. Bell hissed and her feathers poofed out in jagged layers, making her appear to be twice as large as usual. The Delibird slowly picked up her bag and scanned the nearby bushes, trees, and open plains. Was there something there?

The Persian barely twitch as he head the threatening squawk, finally registering the Pokemon he had been stalking to be a delibird. He remind hidden behind a tree, moving slowly and carefully after the other Pokemon. From where he was, he only smell berries from the bag, so he though the Pokemon wild and fair game. He stop behind another tree, blinking his eyes as he somewhat saw some movement. He sniffed the ground as he waited, taking in the scent of the food. Blinking several times as he started to pick up the Pokechow. He though back to the healer, wondering if he had been feeding Pokemon again. ". . ."

He doubted it and started to stalk closer and closer trying to get close enough...

Luckily for Bell, her powerful ears caught the sound of the nearly silent Persian and whirled around. Bell's purple eyes glared fearlessly at the huge cat. Bell knew that, if need be, she could fly away, but she felt angry that she had been interrupted. Bell would teach this cat to try and catch her. Bell's already poffed feathers extended a little more. A low, hissing snarl came from the back of her throat, only getting louder. She said nothing and did not move. If the cat lunged, Bell would tear at that stinking cat's face! She did not notice that Faraon was almost blind. Bell herself was seeing red with anger.

Faraon let out a hiss as she turned to face her. Her puffed up feathers did little. He didn't lunged forward but hissed softly before standing up fully, giving her a blank stare.
He knew better then to try lunge first to an alert pokemon. The Persian had no interest in a fight...just food. And as much as he would gladly just turn around and move on to look for food elsewere, he now had to wait for the other pokemon to run away first.

Bell, being the hot-headed stubborn bird that she was, would not leave until the other left or it forced her into a surrender. Bell knew very well that an experienced hunter would not turn its back on its enemy, but Bell also knew that if she left first, she could be attacked from behind or, worse, be seen as a coward. So she held her ground. Both Pokémon were hissing, which may have been comical if they weren't so serious. Bell finally realized that the Persian's eyesight was not good and took a mental note. On the plus side, she might be able to hurt him a lot if it came to a fight because of his handicap, but on the other hand-- or rather, wing-- Pokémon who were blind could turn vicious if you get too close. After a while, Bell wondered who would make the first move. Impatient as ever, Bell decided that she would. The Delibird, dwarfed by the huge Persian, took a step forward. It was a small step, but any movement could change anything. She waited.

His whiskers tense up as she step closer. He let out a louder hiss but he didn't move still. Faraon swished his tail slowly, raising up. With his breed, that was a warning. One bad move, and he would attack.

While Faraon fancy himself a calmer and smooth different breed from the rest of Persians, but he still had a short-temper that he couldn't control all the time, and the pokemon before him was pushing her luck.

Bell pulled up as she heard the warning. She cocked her head to the side, still staring fixedly at the looming Persian. "So you can see a bit," Bell spoke suddenly. Before the male Pokémon could reply, Bell charged. Her objective was to get behind the Persian and fly away, but if a fight broke out in the process... Well... Bell was running at a Quick Attack speed, her bag slung over one shoulder. Bell didn't want to just leave, because she'd be seen as a coward. If she made the Persian to appear to be a fool by running right around him unharmed, it'd be alright to flee.
