August pulled his jacket closer and clung to the bag of groceries he purchased. Brushing away the blonde curls from his eyes, he tried to balance everything while digging for his keys. Slipping a key in the door, he felt a relief at the familiar sound of the lock turning. CREEK! He tiptoed quietly inside, the orphans were always in bed at 9o’clock. Closing the door behind him he placed the groceries on the counter and began to put them away.
After finishing he walked fearfully into the chapel. He had worked there since he was 10 and the only thing that kept him there were the children. He looked in awe at the faces staring him down…judging. He didn’t believe in the saints but they were there judging him. He slowly sat on the cold bench of the church and goosebumps grew on his arms. He inhaled catching his breath, the God that these children held so dear was mocking him from the stained glass windows.
The church had saved him from being alone when he was younger but they did not stop him from seeing the evil of the world and if there was any God, August believed he was looking the other way. He decided he must help all who were in need, the children who were still innocent could go on to help to make a better more beautiful world.
Something caught his eye…a book. It was not the same size as the other bibles…a notebook? He slowly stood and walked towards it. He licked his lips in anticipation and his light blue eyes studied it from afar.
“August!?”
He quickly turned and looked back….he would see it tomorrow…now he must tend to the children.

All right, just going to warn you now that that can not be a Death Note. Not everyone can be Kira, we already have two. However, as one is...missing, for lack of a better term, you need to prove yourself in dedication and RP skills before another DN is granted.

August opened his eyes to feel the strain of the morning sun. He felt a tug on his pajamas as he rose and yawned. A pair of brown eyes and messy hair met his gaze at the end of his cot. The boy looked upset and was waiting patiently for August to be completely awake and alert.
“What is it, Tristan?”
The boy came closer and bit his lip and tugged on the bottom of his shirt.
“Father Manson took Tracy,” the boy said.
August sat up and shook his head trying to wake up.
“What do you mean took Tracy?”
The boy swallowed and looked around for an answer…from God?
“He took her upstairs,” said Tristan, “and he told her not to tell anyone.”
August was suddenly cold and he clung to his blanket, he started to chew on his lip.
“Are you sure?”
Tristan nodded quickly, “I heard him….Tracy was crying.”
August winced. That son of a… August gently patted Tristan on the shoulder.
“Go and lay back down and don’t worry…”
Tristan ran back to his room.
What do I do...? That scum…I’ve got to…
August quickly slipped his shoes on and ran towards the chapel, as he passed the seats he barely noticed that the notebook from before was gone.
Should I tell someone, the police…I just have to go upstairs first…
August ran up the stairs shaking and breathing hard. He almost tripped over himself running down the hall to Father Manson’s room but when he got there it was empty, just the ruffled sheets on his bed. August quickly crumbled in a mixture of disgust and despair, and he started crying… Today more then ever he felt there was no God.

August came in from the cold. He was shivering...with fear...and crying with remorse. He dropped all his things on the floor and let himself slip down to the ground, holding his knees to his chest. Oh please, let them find her, please... August saw a short shadow at the door and as it came into the light he saw Tristan's sweet face...but it was sad."
"You didn't find her."
August's face crumbled and he bust into a crying fit..."No."

Vincent skated up to the giant doors of the church. He kicked open the doors and screamed Kira PLEASE help me. Vincent dropped a note onto the alter as the priests chased after him. " Kira please meet me in the resturaunt in the mall" sincerly Kira's Wolf. As Vincent trailed off to the mall he thought "Kira is God, God's home is at a church. Kira is bound to come here." "I have placed the 'message' in 'THE HOME' ." Vincent said to the Kira hotline.

-Enishi looked over at the screamer while looking for anything that might lead to any clues of a rape or kidnapping. Seeing him leave the notebook at the alter and walked over to pick it up. He was going to hand it back to him before the priests rushed him away but was to late.
He flipped through it and found the note..."he" would want to know about this. He walked out the chruch, thinking about sending another officer over to look for clues before pulling out his cell phone...and he exited.

August was stunned as the screaming man was removed from the church and dissapointed that the policeman had left. Did that man know Kira? Was he really great...this Kira? August sat down to think it over... He didn't believe in God. But if this Kira could help him....kill the priest. He quickly stood up and grabbed his coat and hat, and found a picture of Father mason, and ran outside.

Ayu turned a corner, and a church was in sight. She parked the car on the side parking lot, and sighed.
"First stop, the Church. Please make it hurry. The night is almost here. Come on."
She stopped the engine, pulled out her car keys, and stepped out of the driver's seat.
"Jeeperz, its cold..."

K stepped out, adjusting the mask. The Church...could also mean the Orphanage.
He was from one once..In fact, he doesn't even remember if he ever had parents. K smiled from under the mask, his bag hunched slightly..His eyes glancing to the Church.

August got out of the car and told them he would hurry. He went to the kids in the playroom as they all came running to him, asking where he had been. August brushed blonde hair from his face overwhelmed, trying not to cry.
"I had to do some shoping," he lied, "for my trip..."
"Trip? where are you going," one asked.
"well.. to visit some friends," August smiled.
Tristan poked his head through, "Aren't you going to find Tracy?"
August looked sadly at Tristan and patted hs head.
"I'm gonna try..."
As he finished saying goodbye to everyone he packed up a bag and went back to find K and the woman.

August was scared but he answered truthfully, "I was looking for Kira."
They could kill him if they wanted, his life wasn't worth much. but he doubted that they would...he told them the truth and wasn't really at all sure he had made any contact with Kirs, he didn't even know if that man knew Kira.

"I see. I guess that makes sense, a bit.." K muttered."Alright, lets go." He entered the car, then turned to August. "Remember that I've given you a name. And now, I have to cover your eyes. Inspector-san, go here. "
K had given her a card, of course with nothing on it.
"Hehe, just put a light over it to make the words appear."
