ok, this is for people to complain about the "ninja" portrayed in anime and video games nowadays. Just reply under here which ninja you hate and rant about why.

Most ninjas of the Naruto anime. Ninjas live in the shadow. They merge with it and kill with stealth. A bright orange jumpsuit is not gonna help conceal you in shadow. Nor is Pink (Sakura) I only believe in dark colored ninjas... Thus, Sasuke is okay...

I agree. Also I don't like how they're nthe "good guy" ninjas and every other ninja is a badguy ninja. ..seems un-ninja like. especially with the orange jumpsuit. but if you can ninja around with that thing on, and not be seen or caught, you must be one hell of a ninja...

Arksaff has a very good point. Plus the goodguy ninjas stand back and only attack when provoked, while the badguy ninjas will attack from the shadows at any random time, even during a flashback, which is kinda how ninjas should attack.

Also I don't like how they're nthe "good guy" ninjas and every other ninja is a badguy ninja. ..seems un-ninja like. especially with the orange jumpsuit. but if you can ninja around with that thing on, and not be seen or caught, you must be one hell of a ninja... but not only is naruto not one hell of a ninja, hes not any kind of a ninja, unless you accept titles like "failure ninja", "retard ninja" " dumbas ninja" "un-ninja", or "not-a-ninja" as titles and ranks for a ninja. adn eyah, whats up with "good-guy and bad-guy" ninjas? they're assasins, there is no good or bad in their world (normal people would look at the whol lot of them as bad, to be honest) they just complete theire assignments and move on, regardless of what the task is, or who is hurt by it

that is so true. but there was a point where sasuke wore only black, other than his headband being blue. but 3 years later, hes wearing white, which is almost as bad as orange.

Ninjas and assassins are two different warriors

The idea of ninjas in Naruto is way different from actual ninjas and the creator of Naruto stated this several times, so you can't say they're bad ninjas also about the color scheme they have what called the Invisibility jutsu, which like the name suggests makes the user invisble so the color of the clothes don't matter since it is an Academy level technique. Also Naruto plays on the myths behind Ninjas like the real ninja's "invisibility".

you guys are thinking of the generic ninjas that the western cultures belived. this was picked up in the theater by techi's. who wear all black, are rarly seen, and very quiet.(techis rule...) although during missions at night i wouldnt doubt that ninjas would dress in all black.
but also let me give you another point of veiw.if they were to dress as normal people(not saying that normal people wear orange jump suits.) they would be able to hide amongst the crowd, getting close to their target. and kill them. then either running or simply blending back into the crowd. if you run around in all black you would attract attention. there are many ways to hide your identity and still blend. and if you get caught where you arnt supposed to be you can just say you got lost. (depending on the situation.)
ofcourse i think the headbands they wear in naruto are stupid. they brand them with the title ninja, witch is cool in all but i dont think its very practical.

all of these are good statements so lets clear stuff up a bit
but i have done a whole lot of reasearch so i actually know a little bit about this stuff
lets start with apparel
laxdude920 made a very good statement about how the techi's greatly influenced what ninja's wear these days. but a what a ninja wore depended on his mission. I mean if you have a mission in the snowy mountains you're not goin to wear black, WAY too obvious, they would wear not so much white but an eggshell type color or a green or brown so they could blend in with the snow, trees, rocks, and bark. if they had a night mission they would usually wear like a deep dark blue hense the name midnight blue. ha the irony. if they had to do a mission within the city. at the time usually a town or city wore the colors of their clan or the original leaders of the town or city. so they would dress in their colors. and if they wore.
and at one point in time the ninja were actually apart of the samurai and wore samurai armor.
Next is the killing aspect
like oni stated they didn't kill for money like an assassin. they were actually people of persuassion for sake of a different term. they only killed if it was absolutely necesary.
so there's a little bit of ninja fact for you to think and ponder on
take it
think about it
put it in your mouth and chew it
roll it around a little bit and savor it

Thus, Sasuke is okay... i agree but even sasuke is bad bcoz he wheres white pants... and i h8 naruto no ninja gos around with blonde hair and a orange outfit... i have orange hair... id wear something over it bcoz ninjas would get owned with blonde hair showing and wearing orange

The head band shows thier allegiance to the clan and protects thier head.
And have you ever tride sneaking around in the woods or any place for that matter at night dressed in black?
It does not work that well.
Black is useless even at night, its only good for intimidation.
