Ujana'kale -- Everlasting Youth Taking in the stories of both the original Peter Pan, and its movie sequel, Hook, we've begun to weave together a tail of a tribe of while cubs, and pups, to live together as children for all time. Sound crazy? Of course it is! Torn from their parents by circumstance, three lost young boys find solstice for their fears at the paws of a rather interesting couple--Denial and Irrationality. Faced with cubs that need to be raised, yet unwilling to be so directly involved with the rearing of mortal cubs, the God and Goddess are unsure what to do.. until one cub raises the wish that he, like Irrationality herself, would never grow up. From this innocence comment sparks a decidedly irrational plot. Soon after, the three cubs find themselves left alone on an island off the coast of Africa--their needs mysteriously provided for them and with no predators in sight. Slowly the children grow in strength and imagination as they spend their days lazily playing with one another. Of course, no child can grow without any direction at all. Eventually, Denial and Irrationality create two different roles for themselves that they switch between to teach the children lessons through play---the Pirates and the Natives. In africa, however, times are harsh and cubs lose parents every day.. or parents lose their cubs. The Gods would inevitably find new cubs in need of home or hearth, and gradually the small group began to swell in rank. Eventually the children formed a society all their own, content to play their days away making games of chores and epic battles from moral lessons from their rarely-seen "parents." And of course... no one ever grows up.

As it sounds, we've begun to create an SoA version of the Lost Boys and their Neverland... where? The Isle of Madagascar, of course! We're going to start this "pride" as if its been running for quite some time--and are going to have to wait to custom in our three "leader" boys. There's even a plot to boot! Of course, we need cubs, juvies and... POSSIBLY adolescents to fill in the ranks of those lost boys and girls who have been living here. If you have an SoA of any species that you haven't had any place for them to be, this pride is welcoming all members!
Of course, we're also welcoming "new recruits," or, cubs you'd want 'rescued' and taken to the isle by either Denial or Irrationality. There are certain rules applied to this pride, however:
1. ALL pride members will freeze in their growth in one of the younger stages. The only Adolescents allowed will be in "leader" positions--aka, positions of some responsibility for the others. As such, they're the ones that have been on the island the longest.
2. None of the Lost Boys, even adolescents, are allowed to breed. This implies that they have grown up enough to UNDERSTAND such concepts--which just doesn't happen. The children here are just that, eternal children. There can, however, be puppy love and crushes.
3. Pirates will only be accepted AFTER the group plot is complete. When that happens, a Lost Boy may convert to the "dark side" and become an adult pirate--but this isn't something we want to happen in spades. To bring a lost boy over to the pirates you have to talk with Kissy about it, and then get permission from all three owners.
4. Yes, your character can choose to leave. XD we're not going to god mode and say they can't try to swim across to the coast. If they're not happy there, or want to grow up, they'll be taken back to the mainland to fend for themselves.

POSITIONS:((there are few 'titled' positions, we do realize that. More will come once the plot is through)) Leader: Peter Pan -- SoA name pending -- Felyn Seconds-in-command: Rufio -- SoA name pending -- Dark Fire Angel "Father": James Hook -- SoA name pending -- Kisoni "Mother": Lost Boys:Lost Girls: ** Father and mother positions: The Mother position is a lot like what Peter initially wanted Wendy to be. She's a girl among them that takes care of their hurts and tells them bed-time stories, ect. We WILL be wanting an adolescent girl for this position. The Father is something close to that. In his own ways, he's more powerful than peter in the fact that he's the guy who doles out punishments for those who don't do their chores. In other words, he's the designated stick-in-the-mud. His position is necessary, but no one really likes to be the "father." ** HOW TO JOIN: Post this: Quote: Name (of soa):Age you would halt him/her as:What happened to his/her parents:Old Lost Boy, or New?: Y/N (OPTIONAL) If you're applying for the Mother position, please include the reason you think you'd fit and an RP example. Also, will you be able to RP often?

PIRATES:
And here's what i'm sure people have been asking themselves:
JAMES HOOK IS A LOST BOY?!
Yes, that's right! In our world, he begins as a lost boy, fighting against the pirates and indians and trying to corral the lost boys into some form of order. Being of a much more... logical and "adult" mind than those around him--relatively speaking, anyway-- the ways of the Lost Boys are going to begin to grate against James's nerves. It doesn't help that he's constantly haveing to fight against Peter himself in order to get any little responsibility taken care of, either!
The first major plot of the island, is to have James turn to the bad side--and create the "real" pirates, rather than just rely on the "fake" illusions conjured up by Denial and Irrationality. After that happens, others may choose to defect with him and we'll open up some positions for Pirates to join his team and begin true battles against the children.
Also, this is the only place that breeding will be allowed in the pride, once it gets started. Because of the nature of the pride, some children will choose to be raised as pirates and fight the Lost Boys themselves---others will defect and join the Lost Boy's and their never ending struggle against growing up.
Denial and Irrationality, being themselves, will see this all as highly entertaining and choose not to interfere.

OTHER PLOTS:
Following the Captain Hook plot, we already have a few others in mind. And yes, they are adaptations of the real Peter Pan:
Peter finds Wendy, who is captured by hook, but eventually returns home to the mainland and grows up. (you know the story)
And then somethings similar to the plot of Hook, where peter has long since left the island, but is drawn back in by his enemy to save his kids.
There will be other plots, involving "mermaids," Indians, all sorts of piratey schemes, of course... and you're always free to suggest something you would think of as fun for the entire group biggrin
