Shetani was happy, and it showed in her every step. The girl pranced and danced along through the jungle, not at all bothered by the fact that it was rather dense. She'd grown up here, and nothing surprised or hindered her very much while she was in her "element."

So it was that she wandered right on up to her father's side without having to look for him. Wandered up, climbed his back and laid herself upon it. She was still a "child" in his eyes, she could do that with him... though she was close enough he would know in an instant that she reeked of another male. "Lovlay day, ain't't?"

Moo on the other hand didn't look entirely too happy; but then again, he never did. Fact was, happiness was not an emotion the lion was prone to expressing, at least not outwardly, and at least not peacefully. His so-called happiness usually came accompanied by blood shed, gore, and usually a fight that lasted long enough to sate his lust for violence.

As it was, since they'd left the pirate's territory a long while back, he'd hardly gotten into any fights. Either others were bloody well avoiding the (WHYYYYY?!) or they were being unlucky enough to stumble upon a freakin' clear jungle.

A sigh rolled off the large male's maw as he watched his daughter prance about in front of him. What he'd give to have something spring out in front of them just so he'd have something AND an excuse to maul. He couldn't bring himself to pounce just anything, with Shetani in front; he had to 'raise' her correctly. He could JUST hear his mother's nagging words and he rolled his eyes, just as the girl in question somehow managed to climb up his back. A pause followed and the male arched a brow at her. Asking her why she felt she needed a ride was at the tip of his tongue, but he somehow refrained, grimaced and padded on. She was probably the only being alive able to actually touch him, let alone climb upon his form, "Lovely," the word was drawled as if he didn't actually agree at all with her.

"Ya, luvlah." She giggled in his ear, licked it then chewed. And Niruzu wondered why she was such a brat.. her father spoiled her incredibly with her freedoms. Then again, he hadn't much choice. She did have a very interesting form of getting her way with him.

It also hadn't escaped her notice that her father and Niruzu were a very good deal alike. Both were moody, angsty and completely 'happy'--in their own fashion--being sullen and... well, unhappy. It was adorable. "Like my daddy." She let her legs slip to either side of him, happily riding along on his back. She was small enough to get away with it at least, no matter how odd it looked.

No. It was not lovely, by any stretch of the meaning of the bloody word. He was grumpy, he was itchy... he was restless and he wanted to pick a fight with the first living being that crossed his path.

His ear flickered absently as the girl chewed on it, almost ignoring the motion; he'd grown used to letting the girl have whatever she wanted, when she wanted it. It was much easier than trying to figure her out. He was, be all means, sort of 'winging it', one could say.

A pause followed as the male looked languidly over his shoulder, "Hmmmm?" he hadn't failed to notice the lingering scent of a male upon his daughter, but so far out, as far as he could tell, she'd been un-touched. If she wanted a toy, she was free to it, so long.... the bloody male, whomever he was could 'keep it in', per say.

She licked his maw. "Ye arr.. ye jus' don' kin h'it... loike Niru don'. heh, y'both so wehrd." Shetani yawned and stretched as best she could on top of him, claws popping out for a moment. "OIIiiiiii... mm.. so wut bay m'da-day oop ta dis marnin?"

"I have no idea what the bloody hell you mean," he murmured at her as she talked. He did though. Sort of. He wasn't entirely prepared to admit as much though; denial was such a ... safe state of mind, and as far as he was concerned there were, if anyone at all, willing tod rag him kicking and bitting out of such a state.

"Mauling would be a good option," he murmured again, softly, however, the softness washed away as he lifted his head and roared the next few words, "But there's no one TO bloody maul!"

"Oi'll let ye 'ave Niruzu when OI'm dun, da-day," She offered and nuzzled him. As strange a pair as they were, she did love her father... in her own obtuse fashion.

"Hopefully you'll be done in the next few minutes, or I'm going to go positively mad," he growled as he padded onward, pausing only when it became clear to him that he shredding the plants around him was doing nothing for his benefit and a lot against it. Bringing their so called home to ruins wasn't getting them anywhere, "What is it you see in this lad anyhow?" calmer now as he lay on the floor.

"mmmm.." She pondered that question and resettled herself now that he had stopped and laid upon the ground. Shetani's tail flicked and beat against one of his legs while she thought. " 'E's a lot loike ye," the girl finally answered, nuzzling into his neck. "Kina mopay.. glum.. ghotta tempah tu. bu' 'e's eas'er ta pick on."

Idly, Moo wondered if he should be mildly offended the girl was comparing him with whatever parasite she was toying with; in fact, his expression was thundering as he pondered if he should hiss. So much so he practicaly missed her following words, and only her nuzzling startled him out of his reverie.

A huff was offered, his ears flattening into his snow white mane; never would he admit he not only loved Shetani dearly, but adored it when she nuzzled him. After all, it reminded him, if only mildly, of his own mothers sweetness, "Hmph," he said in reply, an ear flicking towards her, "Maybe I should meet him."

"Mayhap ye shud." She grinned and nipped at his chin a little. As far as she was concerned, Moo was nothing more than an overgrown teddy bear. Actually, that might be an adorable site--even if Moo killed him. She'd be down a toy, and a little sad... but if it made her daddy happy.. well. Her father was the most important figure in her life, at current.

And so thus, in just a brief, short, horribly sporadic moment.... Moo's mood was lifted slightly. Just barely enough to allow an eerie smirk to crawl upon his maw; one that seemed to promise doom upon someone... something, in short. Which was just as well, because honestly, he needed let off some stress. He'd felt so restless, "If you don't mind a broken toy, luff."

Shetani sighed. "Whal.. keep h'it en moind tha Oi loike tha' parthickulah toy, den? Iffin ya will. Ya break 'im ta 'ard an' ye gonna 'afta rah-playce 'im, kay?"

A sigh, reminiscent of the one his daughter had just expelled, racked his body, "Fine, fine..." he waved a paw, as if dismissing the notion, then paused to flicker an irritated gaze towards her, reaching with difficulty to poke her nose, "So long he can 'keep it in'."

"Keep what in, daddy?" She asked innocently. Oh she knew very well what... but it was funny to tease him with it.

The dour look he gave her told her in a remarkable short time that even SHE would not be able to get him to talk about such themes, seeing as how Moo knew full well that as his daughter, she was far from innocent, "Run along now, you're pushing your luck, girl," he told her as he reached to n** at her neck, "Both your luck and that of that toy of yours."

"Yes daddy," She giggled and licked his maw in return. The girl nuzzled under his chin with an almost unusually loving air and then climbed from his back. After one last swat at him with her tail, she ran off into the jungle once more.

The male watched her go with narrowed eyes. Despite what he'd said, he made mental note to pay this... toy of hers a visit later on. As it was though, for the time being, Moo found himself suddenly relatively soothed, and so, he lay down amongst the foliage, yawning widely.

"Yo ho, yo ho," he murmured, his breath causing stray leaves to whirl, "A pirate's life for me," the words were snorted, almost as if he found them extremely amusing.
