Could the pieces John cuts from his victims be put together to make some sort of message or possibly a picture? I definitely think there will be something about this in Saw V.

They mentioned the reason he does it in Saw II but there could be more to it.

yea well John said that he cut it because it was to show that person was missing the Survival insistent but it could stand for more.

This is a really good theory, but I'm not so convinced. I'm sticking to the facts, and the facts do say that he does it to signify a missing piece of the victim's life. 3nodding
That is not to say that you ARE wrong, I just don't see it happening.

The rumors for SAW V say that it will explain more into the reason why John cuts Jigsaw pieces out of his test subjects and why Billy rides a red tricycle. We kind of got a little bit of info from Jill in IV that it's from John's childhood, but then again it's new writters and directors so anything could be messed up sweatdrop .

That is an interesting point though i do have to agree that it was said that its because the "victim" is missing something from their life is there any speculation as to when V is goming out?

Saw V came out 10/24/08. Saw always comes out a week before Halloween. I believe there can be more to the cutting out the jigsaw piece from the victims but I think it was pretty well explained in Saw II.

He said that the puzzle piece he cuts from his victims is a symbol that they are missing something.. And some other stuff he says but I can't remember.

I don't think he's actually making a jigsaw puzzle. Flesh rots. Even if he freezes it, the ice crystals that are formed will chew through the tissue.
I don't think he cares enough about the losers to make anything more out of them after they're dead.
But then again, maybe I'm wrong. He might take pictures of them and when completed, the make a map to the lost city of Atlantis. That'd be a good slap in the face, wouldn't it?

The reason why he cuts pieces from his victims is because he is stating that the victim is missing the "will" to survive.
