 {Setting: It's morning, snow slowly begins to melt off somewhere in the forest}Hinata drowsily walked out from beneath a tree's roots, yawning as she stretched. She looked down, in suprise, as she felt something wet and slushy beneath her paws. It appeared that the snow was begining to slowly melt. The piles seemed a lot lower than she had seem them yesterday. She sat down and picked up a small clump of slow, watching it melt from her body temperature. Hinata couldn't help but wonder if winter was finally on the verge of ending, or if the next pile of due snow was late. She was starting to get used to the cold, but she'd have prefered spring over winter any day.
A small moth rose back into the sky, previously perching on the side of a tree. It soon after caught Hinata's eye as she noticed it flying. Hinata started to chase after it, plopping herself in and out of the snow, with most of the thicker piles of snow not being able to support her light weight.

L stood, akwardly, in the snow and slush. It wasn't pleasant under his pale paws. From a distance he may have almost blended in to the snow surrounding him, had it not been for his dark hair, eyes, and the blue/gray pants he insisted on wearing. It was a good thing too. Though it was slightly warmer today, than yesterday, it was still freezing.
He looked around at all the ice cycles that were dripping water in the sun, from the branches above him. He gave a sigh, but it was cut short by the sound of something, or someone, bounding loadly in the snow on the other side of the tree behind him. L slinked closely up to the tree and peered quietly around it. Something small occasionally hopped in and out of view. Though he could see the insect it was after, fluttering in and out of the beams of sun light comming through the trees.

Hinata leapt into the air to catch the moth, noticing how it was beginning to fly skyward. 'I've almost got it', she thought. The moth's direction started to head downward, closer in reach. Hinata trotted closer to the moth again, feeling the snow fling behind her. She leapt once more, both of her paws in the air as she reached for the moth. Finally, her paws cupped themselves around the moth. Though, without the support of her front paws, she felt her whole underside fall into the snow, closing her eyes as to keep falling snow out of her eyes. "Oof!"
Hinata opened one eye and made a small opening in her paws as she peeked into it, relieved to see that the moth had, suprisingly, survived. Slowly and carefully, Hinata started to get herself supported on her hind legs, sitting down to watch the moth slowly flap it's wings.
