I'm not a big fan of romance in general (much to my partner's disgust scream ). I guess at my age (28 ) and having to endure a couple of "not so nice" relationships, I really don't give a darn about flowers and choccie anymore. As long as he behaves himself and doesn't run off with my best friend..sister...brother etc..I'm happy.

I suppose I was able to be "nice" for at least a couple of hours, so that counts as a successful night surely?

(gosh I make myself sound all hardcore and mean don't I? In actual fact I'm pretty soft and squishie really xp )

I walked around the mall for about 30 minutes.
Then I went and ate at Taco Bell.
Afterward, I spent about three hours in Books-A-Million reading manga.

I got dressed in my finest black and red suit, bought a big handful of cards (signed them with cupid...corny i know), and headed out to the local malls handing them out to single people. It went smoothly again this year, so all is well.

Ummm, well. xd I was up almost the whole night before, and exchanged gifts with a close friend of mine around 1am. >,> After I finally slept/woke up, I got a surprise card from one of my best buddies; he's living in Houston right now though. E-cards for the win! blaugh Was a total surprise, so even something as little as a silly e-card had me smiling all morning. So thoughtful! 3nodding

Other than that, my day was pretty uneventful. I bought myself a new shirt via a birthday giftcard, went to my little sister's parent-teacher conferences in the evening (yeah, awesome scheduling assholes evil ), stuff like that. Was a pretty normal day for me. Maybe next year-- We'll see. smile I'm hoping to be closer (distance-wise) to the guy I like/likes me here pretty soon. whee Such drastic college differences suck, but we'll have to figure something out. Distance is really tough. confused

Weeelll, my vday was awesome.

I ordered m&ms that said marry me and I got a little glass box with them so I put the ring in there, but they didnt come until vday morning so I had to drive out to pick them up, so then I went to lunch with my lady and our moms. We thought it would be nice to take them out since both of our dads are assholes. Then I went to the hotel and made it look all corny and vdayish, I bought her a huge bear and those kind of things. I wrote her a 3 page letter that I put over the box of m&ms so she read it and then she found the box.

She said yes. Bwahaha kept you in a whole half second of suspense. So we called everyone adn told them and then ordered some food and stayed in the rest of the night since the beach was 45 degrees and homie dont play that.

Next day we went and got our tattoos and I will be putting pics up when I get them, but then we had to go tell her mom that were gettign married. That wasnt so fun. xD

All in all I had a great Vday.

@ Botrott. How cute! My boyfriend was too busy to do anything like that sounds like you had an awesome day.

We were both at work. Tired. I got some roses and some jewellry and a card which is pretty generic but I was pleased. It's the thought that counts!

I also got an awesome voodoo doll to hang in my car and a signed piece of art from my favourite artist!

I get amused by things like that. whee

@ Whitney

Buying yourself gifts is always fun. ninja

Mine was pretty much a straight shot of drama from the moment I woke up. The ex-gal picked an arguement with my soon as I phoned her during lunch, then we basically cancelled our plans, later that night I tried to patch things up but she went ahead and got wasted with one of her friends. We broke up the following weekend. sweatdrop

elapsed relationship time: 4 months.

But otherwise, I had some kickarse burritos that day to cheer me up.
