I only know bad things of SCAD.
I'm sure they have good artists there,
but the administration is ******** (as far as I know).
I have had several teachers at CCS who used to work there.
They hate the place with a fiery passion.

SCAD rejected meh sad But I sucked in HS so maybe that's a good thing...
I hear great stuff about Ringling though.

My husband is a Computer Animation major at Ringling.
Ringling is alright for Illustration as far as I can tell (psytoasty graduated from there last year and now works as a game concept artist), but there are better schools for the subject, apparently. I hear RISD is good for illustration.
I lived uh, secretly in Ringling's dorms for a while.
Not a bad place, though Ringling's in kind of a s**t neighborhood. It's not as s**t of a neighborhood as SCAD is in though, where students get jumped for their rich white kid s**t on a semi-regular basis, or so the urban legend goes.

The Iconoclast I lived uh, secretly in Ringling's dorms for a while. omg hehehe basically what hansma said about scad.... have only heard not so great things and you don't need a portfolio to go there...... just money i'm going to ringling this fall smile ok well i'm not sure if i am but i will probably end up going there because its 50 minutes away from where i live now

It must be some secret conspiracy to make us tough... Surprisingly, my school is in a small town where there's no crime, like EVER. It's really strange. Maybe I'm at a shitty school ;A;
