Does anyone know how you can make a birthchart, adding planets and stuff, and then find out when and where the person was/is born?
I got this idea from the good/evil twin stuff we did, putting planets with the opposite sign from ours.

Wow, that's a great question! I know there's a pattern to it, but I'm not quite sure what it is, exactly... I hope someone responds with an answer, 'cuz I'm curious, too!

You could probably just put planets anywhere and then somehow track when the planets would be in that place during whatever time, but it would take forever I'm sure.

You'd start from the outside, I'd imagine. So, if you're looking for someone with pluto in Taurus, you'd isolate the period when pluto was there. Then, within that, you'd isolate all period/s when neptune was in whatever sign you want neptune in. And so on, down to sunsign, moonsign, ascendant.
www.astro.com has a pretty good range with years (something like 0-3000, may even have some BC, can't remember exactly), so your chances are good of being able to use it to find what you're looking for (if it exists that is; you'll never find, for example, sun in Aries with Mercury in Scorpio, because Mercury is always the same as the sun or one sign to either side).
But, like Lady Lachesis said, it'll take you a while and you'll have to do it kind of hit-and-miss if you do it this way. But I can't think of any other way to do it (well, there are ephemeris, if what you're looking for is close enough to our own time; Parkers' astrology has from 1921-2012), short of some program specifically designed for it. Which would be cool, but I don't know of any.

Thanks a bunch for the advice, starting with the slow planets and working inward is a great idea. 3nodding

Looking for Mars in Leo, but I can't find an Aries with Mars in Leo...the site stopped loading the pdf files. crying According to Parkers', mars was in leo during aries time: 13th february - 19th may 1948 12th October 1962 - 5th June 1963 12th march - 5th may 1980 23rd january - 26th may 1995 Yeah. So look around within those times for the other personal planet placings you're looking for. Not sure what to say about the site not loading pdfs - just wait it out, I guess? Good luck! (fictional charts are fun, arn't they? I do them for characters all the time!)
