Rayatia: heart Ray was the first banthi that Xu met at the caverns and is ultimately is his closest friend. He adores her and would do anything in the world for Ray. Ray has affectionately given Xu the nickname of "Boogie Banthi".

'I don't know where I would be without Ray in my life. I am surely blessed to have such a friend like her.' Pira is Ray's son and Xu likes to think of Pira as his own. He has helped the mustang through some tough times and would go to the end of the world to help Pira and Ray. That being said, Pira is a very stubborn banthi, a lot like his own daughter. He has even came to live with Jiang and him for a little while and is very attached to the mustang.

'While Pira might be stubborn and a bit irrational at times, he has a good head. I know he makes me proud. He would be a good match for Jiang, I should talk to Ray and Cris about plotting to get them together.' Sneaky fox! Cris and Xu are very good friends. They have an inside joke going on between the two about who is the oldest with the most grey fur. He enjoys Cris' company and is grateful for everything she has done for his family.

'I'm surprised that Cris isn't called a Silver Fox because of all that grey fur she has!' Tal is his second daughter. Jiang and Tal are connected to each other by the hip, if not more! He adores Tal and is very happy that his daughter has such a wonderful friend.

'Tal is an amazing banthi. Jiang and her clearly hold a special bond and it makes me happy. Now if only her mother could take after her daughter...XD' Another banthi that Xu is friends with.

'I hope she is doing well, I haven't seen Gypsy in quite a while.' Gypsy's son and a friend of Xu's. Xu really likes Rusty, he's a great banthi but he doesn't get to see much of him.

'I haven't seen Rusty since he was a cub. I hope he is well.' A friend of Xu's.

Xu likes Osiris, he's an interesting character and someone who's like him that is from a different background. Osiris is also one of the banthis that his daughter and Tal likes to play tricks on for some reason.
