Nan finally decided to go exploring, leaving the cave the called home. She was happy that the rain had finally stopped, and the sky above was clear one again. But the ground outside was still quite wet in some places, the sun hadn't done it's job to dry it all up yet. With each step she took, she could feel the soft ground sink a little from the pressure of her paws. As she walked away from the deeper parts of the woods, she could see some open spaces. No crowding trees, or oddly placed logs around the ground. She started to run to the exit of the woods in to the grassy feilds outside, but tripped over a small rock. The rock cuasing her to fall into a small puddle face first, not knowing what to do she panickd. Thinking she had found herself drowning in a huge lage. She quickly started kicking her legs, and franticly trying to keep her head above the water.

Riddick padded around in the puddles and muck placed by the previous rain. Pausing everyone once in a while but only shortly before leaping into the air and landing into a muddy puddle, splashing it's liquids all around the ground and onto his own fur coat. Pushing his feet into the ground so the mud would feel squishy between his toes he noticed a sound much like a frantic animal trying to free itself of someone, or some thing's grasp. His heart jumping out of his chest he slowly pulled his feet out of the mud with a "squu-pop" sound of the water sliding back into his feet holes. Shaking the dirty water from his dripping fur, Riddick bounded from one seemingly dry spot to another before stopping at the place where the strange sounds were coming from. Peering around a thick tree branch he searched for anything that might seem different and his eyes landed on the strangest sight he had ever seen in his short life.
"What are you doing?" He couldn't help but ask himself this, but didn't realize he actually said it out loud. Tilting his head with a little bit of curiosity but more with confusion he flicked the end of his long tail in a shy and wondering manor before stepping further towards the flailing pink Ulaya, struggling to get out of a one inch deep puddle. Trying his hardest to hold in the laughter he allowed a grin to release himself upon his face and eyed her as she tried to save her life, waiting for an answer to his question.

Nan firmly put her feet on the ground, and lifted her head up to see the young kit. "I can't swim, help please!" She said with fear in her voice, she didn't realize yet that she had lifted her head out of the small puddle. And she probably wouldn't realize it on her own, her brain worked a bit slowly for her. Her sense of time was messed up, she can't figure out obvious things, she needed someone to care for her at all times it seemed. But not everyone had the time to take care of her, so she was off on her own. And adult ulaya, that tended to act like a young kit at times.

Laughing to himself, more out loud then he expected, Riddick shook his head at her simple minded act and rolled his eyes. Walking around her he stood on the opposite side as before and flicked his tail side to side. "Why don't you just stand?" He didn't want to sound too much like a smart a** but he couldn't avoid it with the given situation. Laughing again he sat on the ground and did nothing but watch her, he knew he could have a lot of fun with an Ulaya like this but his mother always taught him not to be cruel to others. If only he had met his father at one point, then his mind might change a little. "Really though, the puddle is a half an inch deep, maybe an inch the most."
