As you walk in, bronze and dark blue cover the walls, and splash the floor. The main colors of this wise house. To your left is where the male students shall sleep, and the females, opposing on the right.
Large chairs, and couches circle around a glass table, and are warmed by a fire a way fete away. Bookcases line the ceilings, and books strew over the floor by careless students float back into place.
This place is one that you could only imagine.
Welcome, to the Ravenclaw Common Room. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On a different note, there is a poll now, discussing whether or not you want to have the common room remade. Along with voting in the poll, it would be appreciated if you would post and suggestions, comments, or other remarks in the thread.

House Points!: These are some of the various ways you can earn Ravenclaw some house points:
1. Doing work in class- 5-20 points
2. Quiditch Games, If your team wins that will be-75 points!
3. Dueling Club! The number of points varies on this.
4. Contests-When we have a contest, the winners' houses will earn between 30-80 points!
5. Recruting members! For every member you recruit you get 10 points!!!
(Just make sure when they join they say you brought them here!)
6. Making a banner that you can put in your sig will get you 10 points for your house!

 What is in the Ravenclaw news? August 3, 06- The Common Room is being updated. If you see anything that needs to be fixed, please post in the Odd Jobs listing thread in the Main Forum. Also, we now have a new Ravenclaw Head. Please welcome Reese_Roper to her new position! Old News April 18, 06- The common room have been updated again, if there is anything that you see that needs to be fixed, please post in the Odd Jobs listing thread in the main forum.
January 16, 06- The common room has been updated, and now we have special news. There are two new holders of power in this house. Congratulate Reese_Roper and Mystic_Emerald to the new positions of Junior Prefect!
December 19, 05- After a long time of considerate planning, the Yule Ball has begun. Everybody go out there and have fun. Get a few pictures of you and your friends, and don't drink too much butterbeer!
November 28, 05- Team try-outs for quidditch have begun. Let's apply and have a wonderful team this year. Goodluck. I have also displayed the results so far.
October 30, 05- We have started off our new term with a wonderful Halloween feast! The classes will be straing shortly, and the commonrooms will be settled. We welcome our new and our returning students.
August 24, 05- The thread has started to be set up as the Sorting Ceremony started today. Congratulations to our returning Ravenclaws!

Angil dragged her trunk into the Ravenclaw Common room and towards the girl's dormitories. She was excited about the upcoming school year and glad to have her bed back.

dragging her things into the commonroom Anya sighs, happy and in awe of seeing everything for the first time. she drags her things to her room and then returns the common room with a book in her hand, she finds her way towards the comfy chairs near Crimson Tweety and takes a seat, looking around and simply observed everything going on around her...

After plopping her things in her room and having a good night's rest, Reese slipped out of her chair and curled up with what she considered a very good book in front of the fire.
"It's good to be back," she sighed. "This is my first time 'coming back,' of course, so I guess the novelty wears off after a few times, right?" she asked no one in particular.
