Bara pranced around beside a river. It was just frozen enough to slide around on it, and she couldn't wait to get on it. She couldn't tell anyone why she enjoyed sliding on ice, spending more time falling than acually sliding. She just enjoyed the feeling.
"Ah well!" She said before jumping onto the ice, quickly loosing footing and slipping off her feet. Giggling, she jumped up and pushed off, sliding down the river. "Weeee!!!" She cried out, throwing her head into the air and letting her main fly.

Walking out of the woods and toward the iced over river Lady Requiem, or Requiem for short, was startled by the yelling she heard but surprised when she saw a Soquili sliding on by..on the rivers surface.
Watching with pale purple eyes she moved toward the river and the other mare wondering why she was sliding like that down the river, wasn't it dangerous? Wasn't she worried or concerned about getting hurt?

Bara slid to a halt, her legs sliding from under her. Giggle, she stood back up, and saw a blue mare looking at her.
"Hello!" Bara said, getting her feet under her and sliding to the edge." Who're you?" She asked.

Watching the female slid onto the ice her wings fluttered and horn gleamed as sge ducked her head as she seemed to be noticed. Beads ligjtly jingled in her hair as her head was ducked as well.
"Hi....umm I'm Lady Requiem...Requiem for ummm short." She said softly, shy.

"What a beautiful name!" Bara said. "My name's Bara. I've no nicknames, cause my name's so short!" She grinned and lost her footing again.
"Wanna join me?" She asked as she got back up.

"You think so?" She asked softly. Her name...beautiful, she'd not been told that before. Then again she really didn't know anyone else aside from Lyra whom she lived with.
"Your name...it's pretty, Bara." Requiem said smiling softly.
"Ummm would you show me...I've never...and it looks dangerous too." She said softly while moving closer her clothing, made of a fine silvery material, fluttering about her back hoofs.

"Never ice slid?" Bara asked, shocked. "You're deprived, then!" She said. "Come on. It's easy. Just push your feet in the direction you wanna go, and just let the ice slide you away!" She grinned.

"Well, I'm sort of new..." She said slowly, shyly, before nodding to the instructions given to her.
"Isn't it dangerous though...?" She asked gently, hesitantly, while she moved to stand on the ice her steps light and soft, gentle as if afraid the ice may give way under her silvery colored hoofs.
