Direct Regard to Authorities
Rule 01: All who are members of the Release and Revolution guild must heed the words of their authorities; that is, Lord Mardrom (Captain), and Camping carl (Vice-Captain). Direct opposition to these authorities without logical reasons may lead to banning.
Rule 02: The Captains reserve the right to, at any time, modify or change the rules without notification. However, the Captains will do their best to inform the members of changes to ensure peaceful transitions.
Rule 03: Follow all of the Gaia Terms of Service and Rules. If anyone witnesses another violating the TOS and/or Rules, the witness MUST report to the Captains via PMs. Any witness to a violation, authority or not, will be held accountable if they do not report to the Captains and are found out to have not done so by other means.
Rule 04: If someone has a suggestion for improvement in the guild, place it on the table in the Feedback Forum and do not force it upon the Captains. The Captains make the rules according to everyone's best interests (as long as they have good moral standing), and will know best.

In Regard to Guild Membership
Rule 05: DO NOT request to be promoted in this guild. I do not care how much you have contributed to the guild; if you did well enough in the Captain's and Vice-Captain's eyes, then you will be promoted.
Rule 02: In this guild, the saying "Do to others as you want them to do to you" is not recommended for several reasons. Rather, treat others as they should want you to treat them; respectfully, kindly, and helpfully.
Rule 07: All normal members are on the same status; do not consider yourself more important or authoritative over others if you are one of the greater donators or white list members.
Rule 08: Chat talk is strictly forbidden. "Lol" and "rofl" are allowed, but the definition of chat-talk here is the shortening of every possible English word to a single letter or such. Using chat talk is a problem for those who read your posts, and it makes you look lazy and noobish.
In Regard to Guild Activity
Rule 09: Post in this guild. I understand that people have busy schedules; I do too. However, a simple passing-by "hello" wouldn't hurt. Without checking the guild now-and-then, you may miss important updates.
Rule 10: If you join an RP, do not do something stupid due to lack of interest. If you lose interest in an RP and want to stop participating in it, do not just kill off your character and end it. We want consistency and formality; you can kill your character if you want, but make it believable to the very end. You can also hand over property of your character to another member or Captain, and you can tell them how to work your RPC out of the story (it doesn't have to be death neccessarily), or leave it to them. If you do things right, you will never be subject to a Lord Jake Skullinton treatment. biggrin
