The Nets agree to trade All-Star point guard Jason Kidd and Malik Allen to the Mavericks for Devin Harris, Jerry Stackhouse, Devean George, DeSagana Diop, Maurice Ager, two first-round picks and cash, sources tell Tony Mejia of CBSSports.com.

devean needs to one start earning that money and two get out of a place that doesn't want him anywho

I think this bettered their chances but its still foggy the top teams are still clear LA SA and I'm going to say hornets I think they are still growing here (I know some say the Jazz)

the trade finished as harris, diop, hassel, van horn, 2 first-round draft picks, and 3 million dollars
it made the mavs a lot better and if it didn't go through it would have torn the team apart
