The days had grown much warmer than Olivia first remembered them. Snow and ice had started to melt away and green speckled the land. The young mare was amazed at the change that was taking place.
Not only with her surroundings, but with herself as well.
Warmth of the sun had drawn her out of her hideaway today. Fluttering and zipping about. Peeking at the newborn grass and chasing little bugs who quickly flew away. Today was a happy, care free day. But then again...all days were like this for her.
Finding a nice, firm looking piece of grass. Her hooves touched down upon it. Using it as a perch to peer across the field. Sure she could of just grown to her larger size if she wanted to see the view. But like her mother she much preferred this size. Everything just seemed so much more grandiose.
Brown eyes sparkled as she let out a small sigh. Her long mane and tail getting caught up in a soft breeze as she stood there. Mesmerized. Delicate wings twitching against the wind before her eyes slipped closed and she listened to the soft songs of nearby birds.

Chaz cantered along happily. The stallion was indeed always happy of course. He had wonderful parents and a sister he loved dearly. What was there not to be happy about? Life was indeed grand and he felt the need to wander some like his father and seek adventure, although he never strayed too far from his family's home.
The red stallion decided with all the wonderful changes in weather it was time to explore and experience them all. So many things he had never seen, having been born in the snowy season. Also it was a great time to stretch his long limbs he had grown into over the winter months.
The sun felt warm on his face and his back as he moved into a gallop, extending his body as he ran. He could her the songs of the birds and the see the newly growing grass, even small creatures were emerging from their hibernation.
The stallion pushed himself harder, seeming to enjoy the feel of the wind in his face and whipping through his mane as tail as he traveled faster now, sweat beginning to fleck on his flanks and shoulders. He thundered across the field, completely unaware of anything else except the moment.

Olivia had been oblivious to the majority of what was going on around her. Attention focused on the songs the birds sung now. Her head swaying back and forth as she tried to keep with the tune.
There was a deep rumble coming faster and closer. And in the back of her mind she wondered just exactly what it was. Didn't sound like any bird song she had ever heard. Ears perked as she listened to it closely.
As the stallion flew by she was knocked from her perch. The little female let out a squeal as she went tumbling through the air. Wings spread out in a panic as she tried to stop herself from going round in circles.
The moment she was able to control herself, she zipped into the air. Darting back and forth trying to find where the large figure had gone to. Brown eyes locking on the red figure as it got further away. "Hey! Hey hey hey watch where your going you!" Puffing out her cheeks, she continued to dart back and forth through the air above where she once was standing. Her two toned blue tail flicking madly behind her as she zipped around.

Chaz's ears flickered as he thought he heard something or someone yelling to or at him but he could not be sure. The voice sounded so small he wondered if he was just imagining things. Slowing from his full out run, he turned and headed back the way he came, looking for the source of this voice, if there had indeed been one.
The stallion looked left and right and all around, still not spotting anything that could be the source of the voice. He was stubborn to prove he had not been hearing things and continued along the path he had come, scanning everything in sight, with a confused but determined expression upon his face.
"Hello?? Is there someone here?" He called out in attempt to find them...perhaps they were hidden? Finally the stallion spotted what looked like something tiny zipping around in the air. Curiously and bewildered he approached slowly, trying to get a good look at what it was.

"Of course there is someone here!" She squeaked, zipping towards him, wings fluttering all the while. Landing on the end of his nose, she snapped her tail against it. Tiny eyes locking with his larger ones as she tried to stare him down.
She might of been tiny at the moment, but that didn't mean she couldn't put up a good fight. Besides, if things got too rough and tumble she could just fly away.
"You need to be careful where your going! Nearly ran me over is what you did!" Olivia danced from hoof to hoof along the end of his nose as she puffed out her cheeks once more. Another foible she had caught from her mother oddly enough.

Chaz blinked as the tiny figure landed on his nose. He winced when she lashed at his nose wither her tail and quickly wrinkled it slightly as her little hooves seemed to tickle and caused him to giggle. Her little eyes seemed to peer into his own larger eyes although it was hard to see any detail in hers as she was just so tiny.
"Well I'm sorry, I was out for a nice run and I didn't see you..its hard to see something so...so....small....or tiny rather..." He was curious about her. Was there others like her? Tiny little flying soquili? "Are there others like you? A small mini breed of soquili?"
As she began dancing on his nose, it tickled even more and the stallion could not help but burst out laughing. "Oh gosh your little hooves are tickling my nose!"

Closing one eye, she gave him a scrutinizing look. "Well, maybe you should pay more attention."
Fluttering her wings, she lifted off the end of his nose. His giggling made it hard to stay in one place. So she just hovered slightly. "Well, yea there are others like me. But we don't stay tiny all the time. Oh no, we can get bigger ya know." She found it strange sometimes when the larger Soquili had no clue about her own species. Its like they never existed or something until someone almost steps on them.
