I am soon (Finally) going to be getting my new DS and WW, thank god. It's about time. Lolz. However, I have a couple questions about wifi connections...

1. Do you have to be near a computer or any source of internet place to get connection, or is there something else you can get for connection for your ds seperatly? I like to travel, and I'd like to have wifi connection everywhere I go.

2. How much would the whole "set" cost for wifi being with my DS, and what do I need?

3. I think I know this, but I just want to double check. With Wifi, you can connect to ANYONE in the US on your Ds? Is that true?

4. Honestly, how much of a pain is it to get it on it?

Thanks, I appreciate it. =)

YES!..You need to be IN a wifi area. There is a "DS/Wii Wireless Network Adaptor" that you put into your computer/laptop and can use the "wifi" connection from that...It's been discontinued from a lot of stores...(quoted from the Nintendo Website "Important: The Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector has been discontinued until further notice. As an alternative for on-line access, Wii and DS owners can use a standard wireless router, or for Wii owners, you can use the Wii LAN Adapter.").but try and find it from any Gamestop/ EB Games and it's for about $49.99 -new-. (I work at Gamestop) sweatdrop If you go to a Gamestop try to ask if they have it used...it'll be around $20. Either that...if you're at any local place where they offer wifi connection, Like Starbucks, McDonalds, Borders(bookstore) then you can connect from there if you're traveling. You can save up to 3 wifi connections in your ds. It's pretty neat! If you can't find it anywhere...I suggest you get it ONLINE!..EBAy!..I looked and it looks to me that no one is selling it over $20...

oh..that's easy...like I said a "ds/wii wireless network adaptor" Here's a website that explains how to use it...
USB Adapter

3. I think I know this, but I just want to double check. With Wifi, you can connect to ANYONE in the US on your Ds? Is that true?
Yes, but you have to register yourself with a "Friend Code" and you have to insert a code for the other person to visit you...it's kinda complicating at first...but you start to get it later...

4. Honestly, how much of a pain is it to get it on it?
Hard at first, but easy once you get a hang of putting in friend codes and so forth...after all that ShtuFf.. it's a breeze connecting to other people's towns!!...IT"S AWESOME!!
