Story:

In ancient times, they ruled. They were the ones who but the light in the sky, and the moon in the night. They were the one's who caused the seasons, and killed royalties legally. They were the people who decided when one would die, and when they would become immortal.
The were the Gods, immortal, beautiful, forever.
But they were not to be all powerful forever. As people began to worship them less, their influence deminished.
Now they are alone, staying atop a castle in Ireland which they have named Kane, in honor of the struggle which they went through to obtain it.
And there, to this day, they reside, but not undesturbed.
Mortals, curious by their existance, come, as well as those afraid of gods. Besides mortals, other creatures come for them.
They are called the Tynan, for they are the fragments of shadows and black holes. The Tynan take human, animal, or any other natural form as they have only one existance in the world: to destroy the gods.
And so the fight is always the same for these gods: stay alive while keeping the secret fight from humans.

bio: Izzy is the Babylonian goddess of love, war, and fertility, however, she she has no power over fertility. She is a strong creature, who ruled under her father, who was one of the founder's of the Olympus Cult. When the head gods were killed, she took up her role as one of the eldest goddesses. She is a kind hearted girl, but is fierce and determined. She is strong is not one to be messed with when angry. She, at one time, loved a fellow god, but when he rejected her, she had the Bull of Heaven attack him and his friend. The man lived, but not without losing power from the citizens of the city near by, whom worshiped Ishtar. She is ambitious and mature, while at other times childish. The rumor of her taking the throne as 'queen of heaven' by marrying, is false, as well as her being 'queen of heaven'.
powers: she can make two humans fall in love with each other, as well as create an emotion of ruthlessness in them. She is a war goddess, and is thus stronger then most humans. She can create a spear from any wood or iron she touches. She is able to run fast, but is unable to fly (just clearing things up.
weapon: almost anything, but is usually seen with a spear or long sword.

bio: Selene is the goddess of the moon and the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Thea. She is actually known as the moon Titaness. She is the sister of the sun god Helios. She is very quiet, calm, and doesn't speak out much but she does have a firece temper when she snaps, which doesn't happen alot. She is the fourth youngest of the goddess but acts older than her age. She gives good advice to the people around her. As the moon goddess, she gets her full powers on the night of a full moon but also has a dark side. When there is a new moon, she must be locked away, for her true, deadly powers emerge and will kill anything and anyone in her sight. Selene knows of this and fears that she will one day be the beging of the end of everything.
powers: Selen gets her powers on the night of a full moon. She can grant humans eternal life but at a cost, they will fall into a deep sleep and never be able to awake. That is her gift of enternal life. On the night of a new moon, she has the power to cause destruction by shifting the tides and putting everything into pitch, black darkness with no way escaping.
weapon: a silver staff with a gold cresent moon on the tip. The moon turns black on the nights of the new moon.

Ishtar looked out to the morning sky. The rising sun outlined the forest surrounding the castle, as if breathing life into a dead world. She see in the woods she could see the faint flickers of forming Tynans, but they posed no threat to the gods who were beginning to rise from their sleep. The immortal animals of the gods circled the castle, knowing the presence of the threats that lay in the bush. The golden light from the sun touched Isthar's pale skin, and she involuntarily closed her eyes from the light for a moment. The light graced it's finger's over her delecate robes of soft pink and white hue's as she sat down in a chair of gold. She bowed her head as the sun rose, knowing that the sun goddess had awoken. She then proceeded to stand up and called out to her lion bellow. He answered with a wild growl and then returned to his duty of protecting his goddess. With a smile, Ishtar returned to her room.

Izzy gave a small laugh. "There's no need to stand on ceremony, Sele. We're both the same age, so there's no need to treat me like an elder." And then she looked to the sun as it began to rise over the mountains and woods. "I see your sister's up. The new moon is drawing close... isn't it?"

Izzy nodded. "You and a few others of us. You're not the only one. Don't worry."

Aurora came back not to long after. She saw her sister and smiled as Sol ran up to lick her face. Since their brother Sol had vanished, Aurora had become the older of the two siblings and was always very protective of Luna anyway. "Hello Loony...how are you this fine day."She said cheerily, using her childish name for her sister.

Luna smilied as she ran up and hugged her sister. "Im doing well." she smilied. "You seem to be as cheerful as ever but when are you not for you are the sun." she said as she looked out to the sky. "You did a wounderful job britening up the sky Aurora." she smilied and then looked at her. "sister, you know the new moon is setting in two days and I want you to give me a bright sunny morning after that night. will you?"

"Special? Its never a special day, well night. The one night where Im a danger to everyone." Luna said quietly. "I just don't want to hurt anyone, especially you sister. Remember what happened last time." she said pointing to her arm. "You came to check on me on the night of the new moon and I attacked you without restraint. If it wasn't for you power of the sun, I might have......." Luna couldn't say anymore as she hung her head.
