Kanti snorted as her nose felt a little itchy. Spring was coming, and excitment started to race through her blood. Apples!
That was the only thing that entered her mind when she thought about the deep leaves covering the bare limbs that danced above her head. Already they had started to show buds of giving new leaves... now if only they would hurry it up!
Kanti gave a shake of her head, it was boring standing there waiting, and she wasn't all enthused about not having anything to do. Usually it never bothered her to be so alone, but at that moment, it did.

Dustin yawned and stretched his wings. He had just woken up from a nap and now his body felt all stiff. One was supposed to feel refreshed after a nap, not worse but he felt worse. It was still cool out and there were small patches of snow left still even though Spring was quickly approaching.
He was glad the the snow was finally receeding and that the green grass was showing through. Soon the meadows would be filled with offspring from many creatures that indabited the lands and all would be good.
Giving another yawn and refloding his massive black wings, the stallion started to head for the meadow to find perhaps a snack.

Kanti gave a snort before shaking her head. The ring of beads jingled with every movement of her head. Her blue eyes looked to the sky again. Maybe something would flutter up above, like a bird or maybe even a butterfly.
A butterfly yea right, it wasn't spring yet!
She snorted again and gave herself a look. She felt stupid at times. She shook her head, maybe she should head to the meadow, at least there she could run herself dizzy to give her a reason to seem silly.

The black stallion gave yet another yawn and tossed his head. He still wasn't that fully awake after his nap and he felt extremely groggy. This wasn't too helpful in his paying attention to his surroundings. It would also help if he wasn't bored.
It wasn't long before he came to the meadow and stretched his wings again. There were patches of grass visible here and there throughout and this delighted the stallion as his stomach gave a small growl. Apparently, naps also made him hungry. Causiously he looked about before trotting into the meadow and beginning to graze on the cool grass beneath the snow.
