The old story has become stale and boring to the rpers of the guild so I am going to make a new story probably much looser then the last and now I would like suggestions and ideas for a new themes and maybe story ideas. I have found the active rpers of this guild have been fantastic in both their stories and working with others in the rp. The new story dose not need to be final fantasy themed and it will most likely last a year and have a start and conclusion to it.
Any and all ideas will be welcome and I will look forward to rping with you again. There are 23 active rpers right now which I believe is a good number but I will advertise for new members to keep ideas fresh.

hmm maybe a
futuristic based theme or perhaps one based on naruto or warhammer making your own characters but keeping the different nations and such. we could do a steampunk style guild, western style or knight style.

I like the idea of it being Warhammer based, although I personally would prefer 40k over fantasy. There are problems with making it WH based, note these are just coming from a 40K players view and some will not go over as well. Like the hatreds of races towards others- such as the space marines desire to rid the galaxy of the "xeno" threat. How will we moniter the character customization? Will someone filter through all the profiles and ensure that there is no "codex illegal" weaponary and armour?
Ok, well what ever we do decide on it will need to be enable teambased rping action.
So my suggestions are- Warhammer (either 40k or fantasy), a futuristic space saga, post-modern saga set in a decaying city similar to Judge Dread, something medivel.

Another kind of RP...
Thats a toughie.
I'm not going to say Naruto, because I'll punch whomever says the name.
We should make it kinda like... our own adventures with our own characters and make a big land to travel across, and there can be wars and overlords and stuff.
I think I just did a huge clash between Final Fantasy and Disgaea, though. sweatdrop

I find the warhammer ideas very interesting, but then it would depend on the members knowledge of the story and even with that it still may have to be simpled down for new members.
Something that was also said that is a far point by Jasae and ManagerKyoto is a multiple group role play kind of like the last story and a goal would be nice too.
I do like this idea of a steampunck story could have much potential.

Well, most people here have some knowledge of Warhammer fantasy as it draws heavily from all forms of fantasy. I am sure we can easily have a quick help page set up with active links to online rulebooks/codexes and provide answers to any questions people might have.

thats very true ok what i do is make a list for a pole or something later and ,thats in, after i get a bit more feed back.
and like riku says original characters is something i will want in any of this guilds rp as i dislike rping made characters

Okay, if theres going to be a new RPing story/themed based thing. I want my main to be the one used not my mules sweatdrop
(Kimpey: You added my mule xD)
I like the whole war-hammer Idea, but if that is chosen we can't exactly mix fantasy and 40k, cause of the different rules they both have.
So we'd need like two separate stories or RP sections for the two different games.
I know I'd have to read up on both codex's since I'm a noob to the whole war-hammer thing.
on other topics..have any of you's played gowakamoka (spelling my be incorrect xD)

We would have to select either fantasy or 40K, although in thinking about it fantasy would be easier as it allows easier character customization and it is a much "smaller" world.

the fantasy idea sounds good, and after the story end it could move us on to a 40k role play, although i'm not sure which is first in the time line of warhammer.
the magic in warhammer are plentiful but by no means do people have to draw ideas from warhammer alone in the story for magic or characters.I would add listings of info on story and what not so no need to worry about that.
warhammer is popular and i like the idea i will still wait as see if other guild member have any options or details to add, be for dividing, but its at the top list right now

Hm, yeah, thinking up a new idea for a guild is hard. Though, recently I've made up a new idea more for just a RP threat not a guild, that I haven't used yet. Though, you could probably get some idea's from the first short story I've written for it. It's a little long, xp and I don't know if it will be of any help, but I could pm it too you Kimpey if you like to help you get some ideas. 3nodding

It is hard to say whether fantasy is before 40k or the other way around because both are seperate from each other, only connecting through choas. Which is partly why people out my way (sydney australia) believe that 40k is before fantasy. Namely because Sleenesh (sorry if spelt wrong) was created from the fall of the Eldar empire.

i would like to give it a read WebWings, even if its only for the point of my own interest smile , but it should help for a fantasy story.
and as for the warhammer story it would still work if we did a fantasy story then mover on to a 40k story it could have a link to the ancestry of the characters.
