Getsueigakure was founded by the first GetsuKage, Sumumaru Wakuse, and it has been six Kage's since then. It is divided, a half on each side of the Kiniro River. The land is lush and very fertile, being placed between two mountains and a river. Soon, a village sprung up from where Sumumaru had settled, coming from the Fire Nation. With such land, and a ninja village coming to be, people flocked to the area. It only took a few generations for the Village to double in size. From the very beginning, it seemed to be in a golden age. Trade and wealth prospered because crops were, and still are today, plentiful. The Kiniro River is used for active transport, trade, and irragation.

Getsueigakure is a very proud village, and hold's loyalty and team work in a high honor. Everyone, as part of the Getsuei, is expected to act brotherly and willing to give a helping hand to one another.

To the Northeast is Hata [Looming] , the greater mountain of the two that encircle Getsueigakure. From the edge of the Getsuei, and up into the mountains is a thick forest. To ascend and descend Hata is dangerous, and ill advised. From the time of the fifth GetsuKage, mine's of coal have been discovered in shafts in Hata. Such being, coal, amoung lumber, wheat, and other crops, have been major exports and a big benefactor in the Village's economy. The forest area is used by lumber jack's and such. Ever since the third GetsuKage, for every tree cut down two must be planted, and it has helped keep the forest alive for future generations. On this side of the river as well is the 'Kage's Tower' and the Ninja Academy.

To the Southwest is the more fertile and rural part of Getsueigakure. Dividing Getsuei from the Quan Sea is the Tentou Hazumi [Heaven Bound], the littler of the two mountains. It cradles safelty away the fertile farm land Getsuei covets so much. Many crop's are traded each day, and it's this part of Getsuei's job to supply them. On this side of the Kiniro is the Ninja Housing and such thing's like Ramen Shop's, and places to sight see.

The North and South are connected by numerous bridges, but there are a few more popular ones. Hana no Sakuranbo [Flower Cherry] Bridge is often used by Academy students to get to the Academy from the housing district, since it is very direct. Boat's can be seen daily on the Kiniro, since it's a easy way to travel. Merchant's have small shops on their boats, and some people are just there for pure enjoyment. The Kiniro is open for public enjoyment, and people are aloud to swim in it. It's water's are fresh, and it's clear, the bottom can be easily seen.

The climate for the Getsueigakure is very warm, but not to the point where it's sweltering. It rain's quite often enough, but for most day's it's clear sky's and such.
