Is the MARS manga better than the MARS movie or is it the other way around?
Does it pick up where the manga left off or does it start a whole new chapter to the story?

Does it pick up where the manga left off or does it start a whole new chapter to the story? well......i have the DVD but it does work..DAmn! but i read the manga and the manga is REALLY GUD! i believe its better, or maybe the DVD is more detailed or maybe they've changed the manga a bit in the DVD, they usually do that. so.....u have to decide urself every1 has different opinions about different things! 3nodding

I have only read a couple volumes of the manga, and i bought the movie for my gf. I should of watched it before i sent it, but that would of been rude lol

The manga is good. I have the whole series! And I've also seen the whole MARS series featuring Zai Zai. They did change some parts...but only minor details. You have to read the manga to know what's missing. But other than that the show is pretty accurate with the manga. 3nodding

The Otaku Goddess The manga is good. I have the whole series! And I've also seen the whole MARS series featuring Zai Zai. They did change some parts...but only minor details. You have to read the manga to know what's missing. But other than that the show is pretty accurate with the manga. 3nodding so you get to see a cool ducati bike in the movie?

I always prefer the book to the movie. Unless the movie came first. (movie= show, etc) There are some differences... But it's still worth watching.

what's mars about. i tryed to find it in my local library ~they have lots of mangas like kenshin, yuyu hakusho, inuyasha, gundam, peach girl etc.~ but they don't have it.

It wasn't hardcore or anything because they didn't even go below the belt on Zai Zai. But it was pretty romantic I thought. Sex isn't always a bad thing you know. Everyone can say its a nasty thing, but it brings a lot of people together. More on the emotional level. I think if two people truly love each other, and they know they are going to spend the rest of their lives together, than I don't think them having sex is a bad thing. And it's not gross. (Not saying that I'm experienced. Cuz I'm a virgin. *LOL*) But the character that Barbie plays, was mentally and physically abused by her step dad, cuz he raped her in the 8th grade. And Ling was the only one who could help her through that obstacle of her trusting boys again. So you see, it isn't always a horrible thing. sweatdrop
