I've always thought that some items on gaia were made for final fantasy avatars.
For instance,
Scar of hero,
A forehead scar?
So,
I've created this thread for you all to post your interpretations of the characters.
I'll start off by posting one.

I know what you mean. Some items do look like they were made just for FF fans.

yes, apparently some of the items on here are ripped off from other games (like FF series), so obviously there are a few people that have based their avatars on the characters the items were for originally.

i'll post some more when i find them, i can't remember the user names...as for now, i'll work on making my own as well, i suppose...i'll post those when i'm done.

Actually, in response to chaos.ultima.mage. I believe this thread is a rather good idea. while other threads of similar content do exist, they are based on single characters. I think a thread for all characters would be an excellent idea.

I've actually done a few of these... Tell me what you think:

Black Mage
Items Needed: Lunar Cowl, Straw Hat (or Morgana's Hat, maybe?), Ronin Yukata.
Extras: Flame and/or Ice Gauntlet, Pimpin' Cane.

User Image

Chemist
Items Needed: Green Beret, Rough Cirrus Jacket, Brown Loose Cotton Cargo Pants, Sway Messenger Bag.
Extras: Bottled Coolers (for Potions).

Monk
Items Needed: Martial Arts Pants, Hand Wraps, Matching Vest, Headband and Sandals.

problem with that is 2 things...

1. No Gunarms (as of yet, but who knows)

2. No male avatars have that much... bulk.

You could come close... Perhaps a Gauntlet in the Down Position could work for the Gun Arm.
