The M.T.G.P.S. or, Magic The Gathering Preservation Society, Is a group of Gamers, Fantasy Enthusiasts, & Just all around fun people that all come together to talk about one thing, M.T.G. - One of the longest running and well known Collectible Trading Card Games Ever!
We Are Looking for Basic Members - & what that means is anyone & everyone that has either heard of M.T.G. & had some interest in it, wants to learn about it, talk about the M.T.G. universe, share stories, just about anything having to do with this great game!
For those of you who don't know, the M.T.G.P.S. was an organization of MTG helpers and knowledgeable people from around Gaia, that was unfortunately closed when Gaia's official MTG guild closed. Well, It's coming back as an independent guild, and we plan to once again promote the ideals of fair and sportsmanlike game play, knowledge, and understanding throughout Gaia!
There are sub-forums for people that want to run workshops, post art, cards they have made, etc. ~ Just Contact DA-FDNT If You're Interested smile & I will add you to the New Master List of Helpers & or Members below.

Update: ~ What We Need: gonk
Ok, so I'm already receiving some pm's and various posts expressing interest in involvement, and I'm gathering that people don't know exactly what they can contribute to the guild and MTG community;
The M.T.G.P.S. is looking for several types of helpers;
Rule Aficionado's ~ People with a few years of play under their belt, and are concurrent with all the rules of basic game play.
Tourney Participant's ~ People with even more years of play under their belt, and a greater understanding of tournament functions.
Casual Play Experts ~ Allot of people could claim this, SO I'm insisting on a background of no less than EIGHT years of game play experience and knowledge. These are the folk that hang around the local card shop, know the mechanics of the un-sets, ante, two headed giant, emperor, etc., and have general knowledge of the current expansion and rules.
Casual Player's ~ People with more than a few games under their belt, and are concurrent with the rules of basic game play.
So, that is what we are looking for; For those of you who are interested in becoming a participant, please chose one of the four options above, and send DA-FDNT a PM.

Ok, for those of you who are either new to the game, or are lacking enough experience to qualify for one of the above positions, fear not; You to can contribute.
There will be Four classifications for these people;
New Player ~ Meaning.... you're new to the game, maybe have one or two games under your belt, and are interested in becoming a more active participant in the game.
Starting Player ~ This title is for those of you who have, maybe a casual match every now and then, have dropped in and out of game play, and have something of a general knowledge as to what is going on.
Casual Player's ~ People with more than a few games under their belt, and are concurrent with the rules of basic game play.
Standard Member ~ For those who just want to Belong smile
