Darkside's words continued to ring through her mind as she sat underneath the table as always. He promised not to venture too far off, and she did take his word for it. But she still needed more time to think things through. Answers were much more complex than that little sandwich he taught her to make. He called himself her "friend", but what exactly defines a friend? What in the world is a "friend" in the first place? She didn't bother to ask, because she was afraid of asking. The last time she let her curiosity take control, she ended up in a bad situation. She thought the meaning of friends and friendship were something people naturally knew. Similar to the feelings of danger and happiness...they just knew.
But her mind was still very confused at that fact. What did Darkside meant by that? She didn't even understand the meaning of friendship, so how could she begin to understand Darkside being her friend? He was not too far from her, she could tell, but far enough away to give her some space. She needed to ask someone, preferibily not Darkside. Pearl was afraid if she asked, he might get upset or act negatively towards her obvious question. If she could ask someone else about this matter, then maybe she would begin to understand the meaning behind this whole issue.

Dragoon wandered back to HQ just to see if there were others within. The other times she had come by there was no one there or at least none she saw. As she walked inside she senced that there was some one else within. Looking around see didn't see anyone but the feeling was still there. Scrathing her head and walked to the kitchen to get something to eat and brought back out several pieces of fruit. She walked some what near the table when she sence the other and stoped. "Hello there," Dragoon said sitting on the floor and some fruit rolled under the table.

Her ears perked up at the sound of footsteps pounding against the ground. This was definitely not Darkside. His footsteps barely made any noise unless he forcefully stomped against the ground to let her know he was approaching. These footsteps were too loud to be his, and he certainly would've "spoken" to her before to let her know. But these footsteps weren't the same ground-pounding ones as the Nightmare's. Whose did these belong to? Friend or foe?
When the voice rang so close to her ears, she immediately tried to make a dash for it. Unfortunately in the process of her overly excited state, she bumped her head against the table stoping any escapes there after. Her body slouched against the top of the table as she gently soothed her head with a soft paw.
As the little pieces of fruit gently hit against her paw, she jumped up again, and like deja vu, it happened again in the same manner. This was two now. How embarassing, not to mention she made her position clear to the other. Whoever it was she hoped wouldn't harm her, not like that Nightmare. She could only brace herself for whatever may come, however it may present itself.

Hearing the other bang something on the table, her head looked towards the sound and her ears when down. "Sorry about that. I didn't mean to scare anyone. I just came for some fruit and I felt that someone was here and I was cuirous too. But would you want some fruit too?" she offered but didn't move from her spot somewhat close to the table. Tails swished as she waited. Thinking that this Kitsu was really different from the ones that she has already met. But she thought meeting the other would be fun and to the advice that Eru had given her.

Despite all that happened with the Nightmare, she couldn't think everyone was her enemy. That would be wrong to falsely accuse everyone of such. Especially since Darkside proved himself otherwise, even if he didn't need to. Still, she held onto her suspicions. There is such a thing as being too careful and not too careful enough. It was best to keep her guard up just a little bit longer, or at least until Darkside came back.
With a soft nod, though it may have been hard to see since she was under the table, she slowly reached out to the little grape beside her hind paw. Ever so carefully, Pearl rolled it in front of her as she bent down. Her maw opened just as slowly and carefully to pick up and eat the grape. For the most part, it tasted like a grape. A rather delicious one. That Kitsu can't be all too bad if it gave her the fruit, right?

Shadowy paws stepped into the room, near silent but for a soft whisper of sound. Darkside's glowing, moonlike eyes peered curiously at the scene before him. Pearl was alarmed, but perhaps not outright afraid... the other meant no harm. Which seemed peculiar for a Dragoon Nobody, of all things. But then he was not precisely your average Heartless, was he?
-I am back, little Pearl. And if it would ease your mind, I sense no ill will from this one.- This little drift of thought was directed solely to Pearl, though his next bit of mind-to-mind speech was directed at both. -Quite the curious gathering we seem to have...- He drifted closer to the table, sitting beside the table cloth where Pearl could make out that his form was resting there against the lightly colored carpet, even if her poor eyesight wouldn't allow her to make out the details. He sensed no ill will from the Nobody, but if that changed he would be sure to interpose himself between Dragoon and Pearl. He had promised to protect the gentle gem kitsusagi, after all. He was her friend now...

When the heartless almost soundlessly walked in, Dragoon watched him as she was wondering just how many different Kitsus from her old place would be here. She watched as he went over to the other Kitsu that was hiding, she didn't want to cause any problems to anyone. So she got up and backed away just a little leaving the fruit on the floor. Staying standing with her tails swishing slightly. "Yes it would seem, but I didn't mean to frighten anyone or harm." she said her ears down a kind of sad express on her face. "All that I wanted was to meet others and find a place where I can belong" Dragoon repled to Darkside, but if she need to leave she would.

Her anxious heart fell at ease when the other Nobody showed up. She knew he would intercept any kind of danger if it should present itself right now. In his paws, she was safe, even if not literally. Though it didn't seem like the other would try to harm her. It gave her a grape afterall. Presents are usually reserved for kind people, right? Those who bare ill-will wouldn't give presents to other people, right?
For once she was rather glad she couldn't speak words through the physical sense. If she focused only on speaking to the strange, new Nobody, Darkside wouldn't be able to "hear" her. She wouldn't have to get worried about him overhearing her questions directed at the other. Um...There's...No need to leave. You can...stay if you want. She directed these thoughts to the other heartless, but allowed them to flow through Darkside as well. She wanted them both to stay, but she was more curious about this new heartless right now. There were some...questions she wanted to ask. Answers she wanted to know about.
If you...don't mind... I have a...couple questions for you? She directed these directly at the Dragoon Nobody. Pearl wasn't really sure how to ask them. This was honestly about the first time she asked such serious questions about such a commonly known topic. But they were innocent questions, she just wanted to know. She was a little embarassed and shy about asking these, which was why she wouldn't want Darkside to hear this. Surely he would laugh, even if only a little. Of course, he would mean no harm, he would just find amusement in her innocence of all things, but it would not encourage her anymore to ask these questions.

Ears rose slightly as she was told that she could stay and it was a little weird to hear words differently then with her ears but a cool way of communicating. "Ok and by the way I'm Dragoon," she said to both of them.
She didn't move any closer to the table but layed down on the floor trying not to be threating. "Nope I don't mind. Ask away," She replied to Pearl.

Darkside's ear flicked when Dragoon answered a question he had not been privy to... but otherwise pretended he had not. He simply remained laying on the floor, rather sphinxlike, not really threatening but certainly warning not just Dragoon but anyone who came in the room to behave themselves if they drew near. As for the conversation... if Pearl did not wish to address them to him, he was not going to press the issue. It was probably good for her to stretch herself and try to interact with someone else. He'd just keep a watchful eye on things until he was included once more.

Pearl lifted up a claw, scratching herself lightly as she thought of the words to think of this. "Oh, I'm Pearl...Nice to meet you, Dragoon." She gave a soft yet hesitant smile towards the other. In any case, how should she ask? "Do you...Do you... She paused, still feeling unsure of how to ask properly. Or maybe it wasn't the question itself that was the issue at hand here, but rather the answer that she was afraid of. What if Dragoon thought of the same thing too? What if she thought it was a trivial, simple question that Pearl should've already known about?
Hmm...maybe she ought to ask Darkside about this matter. Ask him about...how to ask a proper question when the topic is a rather simple topic that most people already know about? Her head turned towards his direction, feelings of uncertainty raising within again. I have a...question... She asked ever so softly, How do you...ask someone about a really...um...simple topic that most people already...know about? A nervous smile drew across her face as she waited patiently for his response.

Darkside turned his moonlike eyes toward Pearl, though she could not see it through the table cloth. -To sleep when tired, to eat when hungry, those are topics that most know about, and even those have to be learned in part. There are very few topics that "most people know about" that "most people" do not learn, little Pearl. Some just take to things more naturally. So my advice on the matter would be to simply to ask, and try not to over explain things unless an explanation is called for. If someone laughs at you for asking a question... you simply asked the wrong person.-

"Its nice to meet you as well, Pearl." she replied. She patiencely waited for Pearl to ask her question. Her wings clink a little as she scratched an itch.

Well...okay... She replied to Darkside. Perhaps it should be best to ask him, after all the words he just spoke couldn't ring any more true. If she asked him, and he laughed, she simply asked "the wrong person". Right. But still...if he laughed, she would grow even more fearful, she would think. Either way, maybe it was best to ask for more than one opinion! It would be a...uhh...backup plan of sorts. Yeah. She couldn't really find any other ways of justifying this. But whatever. She'll just ask Dragoon straight out. Then depending on her answer, maybe even ask Darkside.
Okay...here goes... she gulped, still a bit anxious. Do you know...what "friends" mean? Or what "friendship"...is? She lifted a paw to vaugley point at the dark colored Nobody, He said that...he was my...friend. But I don't know...what that means. A small frown formed upon her face, unsure of how she should react. Even though his words were kind, she still felt...weird for not knowing.

The questions that pearl had asked was something that she wasn't at all familar with. Her other life was fend for yourself or be destroyed, obay or be killed. Even tho she didn't have a heart, and some feelings were knew to her like kindness that others had showed her but she really didn't know what they ment. So friends and friendship were beyond her knowing what they were.
Scratching her head in and thinking in a best way to answer. A little nervous herself in answering. "I really don't know what eather of those mean. In another life I have only took orders and not to think too much on my own except to surive." she repled scratching her wings together still nervous "Not to long ago a nother Kitsu told me to think for myself and I'm still trying to find things for myself. Sorry if that dosen't answer your questions," Dragoon replied sheepishly as she looked at her paws for not knowing the answer.
