OK, a while ago I was talking about leaving excel. Well, I'm not going to do that. But a few of you girls said that you would try to help me with homework and figuring stuff out right?? Well I kinda need some help in the science department.

So pretty much my teacher gave our class a paper for us to read about cells and we were going to answer questions after it. But she said if we didn't finish it then at home we could look up the answers on google or wikipedia or something. Well I've tried looking for the answers and I have given up on trying to leaf through all the boring nonsense that has nothing to do with the answers and I was wondering if you girls could help me if you know the answers or where to find them. Here are the questions I can't find:

#6. ______________________ are tiny cell structures that carry out specific funtions within the cell.

#8. The rigid layer of nonliving material that surrounds the cells of plants and other arganisms is called the _______________________.

#9. In cells without cell walls, the ______________ forms the outside boundry that seperates the cell from its environment.

#13. The ______________ is a large, oval struture that directs all of the cell's activities.

#18. The region between the cell membrane and the nucleus is called the __________________

#21. ________________ produce most of the energy the cell needs to carry out its funtions.

#27. A maze of passageways called the _________________ carries protein and other materials from one part of the cell to another.

#32. ______________ funtion as factories to produce proteins.

#35. ______________ recieve proteins and other newly formed materials and distribute them to other parts of the cell.

#39. Organelles called _______________ capture energy from sunlight and use it to produce food for the cell.

#40. The storage are of a cell is called a(n) ___________________.

#41. _____________ are small, round strutures in cells that break down large food particles into smaller ones.

I would LOVE it if someone could help me with these questions. I just can't remember the answers from the paper. Thanks sooo much for any help on any question!!

o3o; Don't you have a textbook?

This is about photosynthesis, right? >>; Try googling the part of the question (the sentence part), and see if it matches with anything..

I like... totally loathe science... and it dislikes me back... but I did what Asashina suggested and you can definitely find the answers that way. It's easier if you phrase it into a question, like "What are..." or "What is...".

I don't remember anything else. I just had biology last year, and I'm hopefully going to take AP bio next year. So, I don't know if the ones I put down were right or not, and I hope this helps!

#8 -- is cell wall
#21 -- is mitochondria
#35 -- is golgi bodies (this one . . . I'm not too sure of)

That's all I've got. I loved my Biology class, but I can't remember much ^^;

You might find this site helpful though: Help

#18: Cytoplasm? (I think that's it, I might be wrong.)
#21: Sugar? That MIGHT be it...
#39: Chloroplasts

Everything I remember from last year has already been answered. xD
Try googling 'cells'. I did that and I found some good things.
It might help in the future, too.

thanks for all the help!! I got almost all the questions right when we corrected it in class.

I hate school. Or at least the learning portion of it.
