Yuki, a small multi tailed wolf cub, was wondering through what seemed to her a deserted rocky mountain path. Bits of boulders and random vines twisted their way around the what seemed to be deserted path. It was strange to Yuki but she felt most at home in area's like this. Yukis life was still very young and she still did not understand a lot about how the world worked but she knew one thing; being alone in areas that seemed lonely was filling to her self.
The pitter patter of her paws echoed threw the empty path. The sound was almost eerie but also relaxing. Ah solitude, one of Yuki's favorite things since she was born. Her being on her own had nothing to do with her mother or father leaving her or her family getting killed. Her being alone had something to do with her leaving them. Thinking was a difficult task when you had brothers and sisters who wanted to play fight.
A big chunk of boulder was up ahead. It looked like a nice place for Yuki to take a nice sit. She had been walking for some time now and her paws were soar.

"Stay here. Don't leave this spot. Understand?"Mother had told Quilla to stay put a long time ago, so Quilla sat, still as a stone and watched... a dim, lost look in the girl's eyes as she watched the rocky mountain path. Lilith would be back. And bring dinner. She was certain. Lilith... mother, she was always there. Mother was always there, and one must obey mother... even though mother hated rules. Mother was a very contradictory wolf. Quilla was to obey her, but she must also think for herself, and obey no one. It was very confusing. But mother never grew angry with her, whether she obeyed or didn't.
But mother would certainly leave without her if Quilla left the cave... she she remained, staring at the scenery, "...Run and catch... run and catch..." she sang to herself before she stood up, exploring the cave a little bit, leaning down and speaking to a rock, "You're a pretty little thing... what's your name, little thing?" The rock made no reply. "Bad rock. I asked you a question."

A proud Yuki was now perched upon the fragment of a boulder cleansing her soar paws of the dirt she had trailed in. A bath was always what the doctor called for when one had been walking for a long while. She paused, something had disrupted her bath. Voices! But from where? Up ahead? It was against her nature to go check on mysterious voices or really others but the last sentence had made her curious. Bad rock. How could a rock be bad?
With an arch of her back she was up and stretching. Yuki lept off the boulder and landed on all fours softly and almost gracefully. Just up the way a little further she could see a small cave. It was almost hidden in the scenery but quite clear if you were looking for it. If it hadnt been for the voice than Yuki would have most likely had missed it. Her tails twitched, Should she go in or not?

"You have been naughty..." Quilla told the rock, as though it were something perfectly normal, before she pivked it up with her mouth and set it aside, before she set up her other rocks in one corner of the cave, "Now... you all must play nice, or else you shall be like our Lana there, who would not speak, and so she cannot play with the rest of us."
If she knew there was another wolf nearby, she gave no sign of it, completely engrossed with her rocks as she played with them, humming to herself as she did so, almost as though they really were speaking back to her.

More strange words, by the sounds of it there must have been quite a few wolves in there yet Yuki only could hear and smell one with the faint trace of another. Curiosity got the best of her and she had to know what kind of crazy thing was happening in there. The silver wolf mumbled under her breath as she crept closer to the entrance, she hated being around other wolves or other beings in general.
She was at the entrance now and could make out the shape of an orange furred cub. Male or female was hard to tell in this light but there was only one as far as she could tell.
"Why are you talking to your self?" The question was blunt. The silver wolf lacked in social skills.

Quilla's ears perked up slightly, and her head turned slowly to look at the other wolf who had entered her temporary den. She slowly and deliberatly lifted her paw to her mouth and made a small "shush" noise, before she turned back to her rocks, "Has someone else come to play with us? Hum?"
She stood up and turned to look at the other wolf, tilting her head to the side, "Are you lost? Do you want me to walk you home?"

Yuki tilted her head to the side, this wolf was odd. The mere mention of the word lost made her chuckle to her self some.
" You think I'm lost? " This time her chuckle made her ribs shake some. "Oh no Im not lost, I live on my own, " This wolf was rather amusing. She seemed nice in an almost twisted scary movie kind of way. The way she played with those rocks sent chills down Yuki's spine.

"Where's your mommy and daddy?" Quilla asked, slowly stepping forward, so carefully that you would think she was trying to walk on water just from her motions... or that she wasn't entirely sure the floor wouldn't drop out beneith her at any second, "Mine are both dead... poof, all gone... but Miss Lilith takes care of me... she's gone to fetch our dinner." Quilla made a small snapping motion with her mouth, and then giggled a little, "And we shall eat it all up."

Yuki sat down on the could rock floor. An itch behind her ear had been bothering it so she scratched it with her back paw. The talk of family and dinner didnt really catch her attention but the talk of another bigger wolf coming home with dinner did. The option of just turning around and leaving crossed her mind but her paws were still soar and she was comfitable.
"Family? I had one of those. I left them though." A yawn escaped her, "Soo.. this Miss Lilith isnt going to be angry I am here is she?"

"Oh... Miss Lilith can have a terrible temper sometimes..." Quilla nodded furiously, then stopped, looking out of the cave, "But she's like you, I think. Miss Lilith doesn't like other wolves. Or families... she left hers, all by itself... or they walked away from her... left her all alone... she thinks they're all very silly. All these wolves. Wandering with families." She turned and went back to her rocks, leaning into the one who she had pushed away, "What is that miss Lana? Are you going to behave now?"
There was something very, very wrong with this wolf.

Yuki licked her teeth, there was something jabbed in her gums and it was very annoying. Her nerves were cool hearing about lilith though she knew it was still a gamble being there. Her brow raised as she watched the Quilla play with her stones. It was sure strange but Yuki voted not to comment on this.
"Whats your name kid any ways?" Since Yuki was being social she might as well learn who she was conversing with name.

Quilla looked back and smiled a little bit, "Me? I am Quilla..." She said, looking at the other wolf, "What do they call you?"

Yuki smiled. Quilla was a nice name, "My name?" She sighed, "My names Yuki." The wolf plopped down on her tummy. "Hmmm you know I could get you a few more rocks if you wanted... theres a ton scattered about the path." Yuki sighed again and turned over to her back. In all honesty she hated staying in one place for to long. It made her antsy.

"I'll have to ask." Quilla said, leaning down towards her rocks and whispering to him, "This lady wants to know if you could use more friends. Since Miss Lana cannot play anymore, would you like a new friend?" she listened in on her rocks and then nodded, "Alright, we may find some new pretties to join with my playing. I'm certain we will find someone nice... but we may not stray too far from the den, or Miss Lilith will not be able to find me."

Yuki nodded, the last thing she wanted was to get on the bad side of a full grown wolf. With another stretch she was up on all fours and was swiftly out the dens door back on the over grown mountain path once again with plenty of chunks of rocks scattered about. Her tails twitched some.
"What kind of rock would your friends want to play with?" Her voice was bland.
