I like memorizing scriptures because when people are like "blah blah blah" then you can be like "Oh no way" and quote a scripture. Or something like that, you know what I mean?

I still need to know from all of you which ones you have memorized. We need to move on, but I need to know we are not leaving people behind.
The next one we have to memorize is an easy one.
It is John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

I thought it was John 3: 16 and 17? Also, I have Romans 3: 23 and Ecclesiastes 12: 7 to memorize.
I've got Doctrine and Covenants 4, Mosiah 2: 17, Books of the New Testament, John 3: 16-17, Romans 3: 23, and Ecclesiastes 12: 7 memorized. Still working on 2 Nephi 31: 17-21.
Also, I didn't know if 1 John 4: 18 was a scripture we should memorize or not.

I've only got D&C 4 memorized so far, but I'm working on the rest. (I have a really hard time with memorization.)

Helaman 5:12 is a really good one to memorize in the book of mormon
It's the scripture mastery about a firm foundation

The one you stated is an excellent one. But I still need to know what people have memorized so far!!!!!
