Malika'eusi had been in the pridelands for some time now and she rather enjoyed being there. However she stayed away from the area she had lived in when she had first arrived. After the terrible fight with her first born daughter and the disappearance of her almost-mate Sekizen she left the den she had grown comfortable in. She moved closer to the border, there she had ran into a male and well. Things went from there.
Since that meeting between the male and herself Malika found herself pregnant. Recently she had give birth to a litter of mint green mixed with teal and white cubs. Four to be exact. Three boys and one girl. Rather ironic for the white female that was their mother for she had begun to lose all faith, trust and hope for the male gender.
It was alright though, she loved her new children. How could she not? And this time she was going to be there for them. She was going to be the best mother that they could hope for. At least she hoped so.
With the thought of her children on her mind she moved from her sunny spot at the entrance of her den before heading back in to check on them before laying down a light smile upon her face. Today would be the day she officially gave them their names.

The young minty toned cub uncurled from where she had been sleeping in the center of the mound of furry bodies created by her three brothers. It was warm, and more than comfortable enough for her to stay asleep for a little while longer, but she had felt the absence of her mother even in her slumber. Pale purple eyes creaked open, blinking blearily against the world beyond her, and a yawn cracked her jaw as she pushed herself to her feet. Half stumbling, half walking past the outstretched limbs of her brothers.
As her mother's beautiful face appeared in the den entrance, a smile spread across the maw of her own. She waited for the pale form to lay down before scrambling over to cuddle her form against the warmth of her mother's side. She was an affectionate creature, loyal from the start, and there was no face she'd have rather seen other than her mother's. Her eyes shifted over her shoulder for a moment, staring at the pile of fur until she could pick out that of her brother - her twin, precisely. Content that he was still, there, she turned her attention back up to the mother she knew and loved.
With a smile, and a muttered "mmm" noise, she crawled between her mother's forepaws and burrowed herself against the soft fur of her chest. Content to sit there, she leaned into her warmth, eyes half-lidded and watching the world around her.

He was a bright boy, having brought on the color from his mother's markings upon her shoulder which he had already commit to his memory, the mark he carried on his own arm, and thought himself so lucky to have adorned upon his pelt: he loved his mother so. Lavender eyes peered about and seemed to glow with excitement seeing his mother come into the den, his sister had already run to her side, and so he scooted over as well.
Seeing that his sister took the spot between his mother's forearms, he nestled himself against her side and nuzzled his face against the pure white fur, close to the bright green marking on her shoulder. He smiled and murred, content and warm.

The only white cub in the litter, he felt the pile of warmth dwindle as sibling after sibling began to 'abandon ship' somewhat. He woke slowly and grumbling slightly, and blinked away the sleep.
Blue eyes. The only one to have them amongst his litter-mates.
The only one. That might be something he would have to grow accustomed to. He was also the only one to have his mother's streaked-eye markings. At least he wasn't the only boy though. He wobbled over to the soothing and familiar form of his mother, leaving his last brother behind. Unlike his darker pelted brother, this one grew in energy as he approached his mother and rather than settle down comfortably, he began to clamber onto his mother's back.

He, unlike his twin was resting alone. Away from his mother and his other siblings. His tiny paws curled along his face, covering his eyes. He was so tired and this light, this cold feeling he felt brush up his back side bothered him. He just wanted to sleep!
Mewing slightly he turned and rolled onto his side, soft gazing at his twin sister. He knew they were different. They just had to be and right away he felt extremely close to her, he only wanted to be around her when the other siblings would cuddle up.
Slowly h wiggled over to his mother and twin, nuzzling up along side both as he made himself a home beside his mother’s warmth, resting his face beside his sister’s with a soft mew.

A soft chuckle escaped Malika's maw as her only daughter from this litter crawled over her soon to be followed by the rest of her siblings. When her light laughter subsided a smile settled upon her features as she bent her head down giving a quick soft nuzzle to her little girl before doing the same to her twin who had slipped in beside her. Then she proceeded to nuzzle her other two children.
"My darlings, I have a surprise for you," Malika began her voice soft and quiet knowing that their ears could still be sensitive. "You will all be receiving your names today." She finished unable to hide the excitement from her tone. She had been there to give her first litter their names but hadn't stayed long enough to watch them grow, no she had a bit of a break down and had fled. Now however she was going to make a difference and be apart of their lives.
She was going to make everything right. Then maybe one day they'd meet their sisters where ever they were scattered.

A soft mew escaped the femme’s body as her twin brought his warmth to snuggle up to her own. With half-closed eyes she nuzzled her head against his. She didn’t often like to be separated from him, but she was a restless cub, and if he took too long to wake she would leave him behind. She never went far, and never out of sight. Besides, if she got up, he usually followed her after a little while anyway.
Her violet eyes shifted away from that of her twin as her mother nuzzled her, a grin spreading quickly across her face. She watched her nuzzle each of them in turn, content where she lay snuggled between her mother’s paw and her twin’s warm form. At her words, however, a soft giggle fluttered from her mug and she brought her head up a little higher. She waited for her mother’s words, casting glances to each of her brother’s in turn. Idly, in her childish little head, she wondered what their names would be.

"Names?"
The white male continued to clamber all over his mother until he slid down one side and landed with a soft thud on the ground. He immediately got back up and toddled around to her front so he could begin all over again. Outwardly, he didn't appear to be the thoughtful type, but he was always musing over things, and although he didn't know it, he was thinking the same thing as his sister - what would all their names be?
