Personality: His personality fluxes from extreme calm to outbursts of rage. Easily angered, easily calmed, almost always unexpected. Harsh and blunt, he won't lie to you. Sometimes cold and cruel, but also warm and friendly. He always likes practical jokes (on him or on others).

Weakness: Earth, lousy at hand to hand combat, sometimes he's an a**.
History: Alter grew up in a harsh household with a strict and overbearing father. His mother had died giving birth to Alter and his father blamed him for it. His only ally was his older sister Mara, his calming influence. After witnessing his father abusing his sister, Alter flew in such a rage that he lost control of his powers and nearly killed his father. While his father was recovering, relatives sent Mara to a convent to study and Alter to the Grove to learn to control his powers. Alter never felt a connection to anyplace and traveled after graduating but eventually landed a teaching position at the Grove. He still keeps in touch with his sister, but hasn't spoken to his father since.
