Pros: -More money in guild account. -Only people willing to post ect would pay to join -Even people new to Gaia could afford 10 or 20 gold
Cons: -If they haven't heard of MBTI but are interested, an entry fee may tip the balance between joining and not joining -It might make people less willing to join the guild -People may see it as having bought a share in the guild, and expect it to be really active all the time, ect -Even if it's only 20g, it could make it awkward banning people -I'd feel guilty.

i think an entrance fee could be a good thing, but it could also be a bad thing. if i had run across this guild and not known much about it, i probably wouldn't join if there was an entrance fee. BUT. i'm sure other people would. maybe. i don't know.

Yeah that's what makes me think it may be a bad idea. But, they could always browse the forums before joining if they wanted to see if they were interested.

I never join guilds with entry fees unless they seem really interesting.
